@Bullish will bring @Aptos ($APT) and @ethereum ($ETH) into its equity tokenization service, which already runs on @solana ($SOL). Companies will be able to choose which blockchain their tokenized shares sit on, while the transfer agent keeps the official ownership record.
The announcement was made on November 3. Bullish named Aptos, Solana and Ethereum as the first networks for its equity tokenization services.Solana is the first supported network, and Aptos and Ethereum will be integrated subsequently, with no specific timeline announced.
Issuers Get a Choice of Network
The service is issuer-sponsored. The company whose shares are being tokenized is a participant in the process, not a bystander. The aim is multi-network support for issuing tokenized shares, rather than tying everything to a single chain.
Even with shares on several blockchains, Bullish says the official ownership record stays with the transfer agent.A transfer agent is the record-keeper that tracks who legally owns a company's shares.
For Aptos, the selection would extend its role in tokenized finance. TheStreet reported that Aptos says tokenized funds from asset managers including Franklin Templeton and Apollo already run on it.Bullish says it intends to offer the same capabilities on Aptos, putting the network in line to host tokenized public equities alongside the funds it already supports.
NYSE Demonstration and Equiniti Deal
The news follows an October 27 event at the New York Stock Exchange. There, Bullish CEO Tom Farley and Dan Kramer, CEO of transfer agent Equiniti, moved 61 million tokenized Bullish shares on Solana.Bullish says the transfer completed in seconds. The shares are reserved for the closing of the Equiniti acquisition, and the final issuance amount will be determined according to the merger agreement.
Bullish agreed in May 2026 to acquire Equiniti in a $4.2 billion deal, which it expects to close in January 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.Equiniti supports nearly 3,000 public companies and serves more than 20 million shareholders worldwide.
Bullish has already put its own stock on-chain. In August, Bullish launched live trading of its tokenized BLSH shares on its regulated exchange in Gibraltar. Because the Equiniti acquisition has yet to close, the timing of any wider rollout across Aptos and Ethereum will depend in part on that deal and its regulatory approvals.
