Cardano (ADA) is witnessing renewed investor confidence, with analysts and on-chain data pointing toward the early stages of a macro accumulation phase. The uptick in whale activity and the network’s ongoing upgrades have contributed to a more optimistic outlook for ADA’s price trajectory.

ADA price rebounds as whales accumulate

At the time of reporting, ADA trades at $0.1901, recording a 10.21% gain in the last 24 hours. Its trading volume over the period stands at $686 million, while the market capitalization reaches $6.94 billion. The recent price surge has drawn attention to ADA’s bullish reversal potential, especially as buying activity by large holders intensifies near established support zones.

Crypto analyst Crypto Patel identified evidence of an extended accumulation cycle for Cardano after its price fell nearly 96% from the all-time high in 2021 and around 89% from the December 2024 peak. According to Patel, ADA rebounded from the historically significant $0.086-$0.15 institutional demand zone. Analysts are monitoring $0.2887 as a preliminary bullish trigger, with $0.50 cited as the threshold for confirming a potential macro trend reversal.

Crypto Patel outlined a positive scenario for ADA, noting that upside price targets on technical charts include $0.28, $0.50, $1, $2, $3, and possibly $5 or more in the longer term, reflecting expectations for robust growth if positive momentum persists.

Network data from Ali Charts and blockchain analytics firm Santiment indicated significant whale activity, with more than 240 million ADA accumulated in just five days. This surge in large holder accumulation reportedly coincides with a 22% price increase.

Analysts widely interpret increased whale holdings as a bullish sign, since reduced available supply and concentrated ownership can boost investor sentiment and price stability in the short- to mid-term.

Upgrades, staking, and ETF news support sentiment

Cardano has also benefitted from several ecosystem developments. Recent market optimism is linked to progress toward spot ETFs, advancement on the Leios upgrade, and the expanding Midnight ecosystem. Furthermore, data shows that more than 60% of ADA’s circulating supply is locked in staking, which analysts see as limiting available supply and reinforcing positive price moves.

The Leios upgrade is a planned protocol enhancement aiming to increase Cardano’s transaction throughput and scalability, which could lead to improved user experience and broader network adoption in the coming months.

Alongside these developments, strong volumes and increasing large player activity reflect what many see as a coordinated accumulation phase. Should buyers maintain momentum and surpass resistance levels, analysts indicate that ADA may continue its upward trend.

Key levels and market outlook

Analysts are closely monitoring ADA’s ability to maintain support and advance past resistance levels. The bullish reversal is seen as probable if whale accumulation and network growth persist. However, traders note that sustained momentum is needed for ADA to break through established barriers and validate a long-term market shift.

The current trend aligns with a broader market move, with Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies also recovering. Nevertheless, the path forward for Cardano remains contingent on continued inflows, active development, and the ability of buyers to uphold critical support zones.

Analysts emphasize that strong whale accumulation and network progress could allow ADA to continue its upward movement if buyers maintain pressure at support and overcome resistance levels.
