Spot Chainlink ($LINK) exchange-traded funds recorded net outflows of about $397,000 on October 16, reversing a brief run of inflows earlier in the week and adding to broad withdrawals across US crypto ETFs.

Grayscale's GLNK drives the outflow

According to SoSoValue data reported by TokenPost, Chainlink spot ETFs swung to a net outflow of $397,256 after one trading day of inflows. Of the two funds, Bitwise's CLNK attracted $1.56 million, while Grayscale's GLNK lost $1.96 million.

The day before, the picture was calmer. TokenPost reported that the LINK ETF market took in just $12,157 on October 15, following two consecutive trading days of flat flows. On that day, CLNK received $456,396 while GLNK posted a $444,240 outflow.

The outflow was small in dollar terms. Chainlink products are far smaller than the Bitcoin and Ether funds that dominate US crypto ETF flows, and a single-day move of this size says little about longer-term demand.

Wider ETF outflows on the day

Chainlink was not alone. CoinTurk reported that US spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $82.39 million on October 16, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounting for $71.78 million. Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $69.68 million in outflows, their third consecutive day of withdrawals. Solana funds lost $12.67 million and XRP funds shed $2.47 million.

TokenPost noted that NEAR was the only altcoin spot ETF market to post an inflow that day, at $2.61 million, while XRP, SOL, LINK, HBAR and ZEC funds all saw outflows.

Both Chainlink funds are relatively young. Grayscale launched the first US spot Chainlink ETF on December 2, 2025, by converting its existing trust. Bitwise followed with CLNK on NYSE Arca on January 14, according to Yahoo Finance's report on the Bitwise launch. CLNK carries a 0.34% management fee, slightly below GLNK's 0.35%.

ETF flow figures reflect creations and redemptions of fund shares rather than a full measure of demand for the underlying token. For $LINK, daily flows in the two funds remain a useful gauge of how US investors are positioning around regulated exposure to the oracle network.
