CT Token Goes Live on September 30
Concrete, the on-chain financial operating system built by Blueprint Finance, has launched its native governance token $CT via a Token Generation Event (TGE) today, September 30, 2026. CT is issued by Concrete Network, Ltd. with a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens and no inflation mechanism. The token is deployed on Ethereum and BNB Chain, with future exchange listings to be determined by the respective platforms.
CT itself is issued by the Foundation's BVI subsidiary, Concrete Network, Ltd., which is also the entity responsible for the CT crypto-asset white paper and for seeking CT's admission to trading. The whitepaper has been prepared under MiCAR, the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation framework.
A Protocol With Scale Behind It
The product suite, which includes Earn, Vaults, Enterprise, and AssetCX, has disclosed deposit volumes exceeding $1.2 billion, cumulative trading volume surpassing $23 billion, and more than 54,000 depositors.
Eligible holders who lock their $CT tokens may participate in governance decisions regarding supported strategies, collateral categories, fee structures, and module operations.Stakers may also receive a portion of protocol-side fee adjustments based on their interaction with supported modules and may qualify for rewards according to their level of participation and protocol rules.
The CT token allocation breaks down as follows: 35% for the ecosystem, 15% for the foundation, 22% for the team, and 28% for investors. The ecosystem portion covers community distribution, ecosystem participation, liquidity, and growth, while contributor and investor shares are subject to long-term vesting schedules.
The Cayman Islands-based Concrete Foundation coordinates protocol governance and manages the CT treasury, while its British Virgin Islands subsidiary, Concrete Network, Ltd., serves as the issuer. As the protocol expands, additional predefined governance decisions will gradually transition to token-based governance.
Coinbase has also added CT to its asset listing roadmap and generated deposit addresses for the ERC-20 token, though transfers remain locked until the issuer unlocks them.
