The cryptocurrency market traded on mixed footing over the past 24 hours as Solana (SOL) outperformed several leading digital assets. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP (XRP), BNB (BNB), Hyperliquid (HYPE), and Dogecoin (DOGE) all recorded modest losses, reflecting cautious sentiment across the broader market.
Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, slipped 0.2% to $63,298.73 while recording $35.95 billion in daily trading volume and maintaining a market capitalization of approximately $1.27 trillion. Similarly, Ethereum (ETH) declined 0.2% to $1,774.23, generating $16.13 billion in 24-hour trading volume with a market capitalization of $214.08 billion.
BNB (BNB) posted a steeper decline, falling 0.9% to $579.67 while recording $754.18 million in daily trading volume and retaining a market capitalization of $78.11 billion. Meanwhile, XRP (XRP) dropped 1.5% to $1.13, with $1.68 billion in trading volume and a market capitalization of $70.36 billion.

Solana Leads Major Cryptocurrencies While Altcoins Extend Gains
Solana (SOL) stood out among the largest cryptocurrencies after posting gains despite the broader market weakness. The digital asset climbed 0.5% to $81.21. Moreover, SOL recorded $2.54 billion in daily trading volume and maintained a market capitalization of $47.25 billion. TRON (TRX) also remained in positive territory, adding 0.1% over the past day. The cryptocurrency traded at $0.3297 while registering $456.38 million in trading volume. Its market capitalization reached $31.28 billion.
Elsewhere, Hyperliquid (HYPE) declined 1.9% to $70.36. The token generated $479.27 million in daily trading volume and maintained a market capitalization of $15.65 billion. Dogecoin (DOGE) posted the largest decline among the leading cryptocurrencies listed. The meme coin fell 3.0% to $0.07525. Furthermore, DOGE recorded $743.12 million in trading volume while holding a market capitalization of $11.65 billion.
Beyond the largest digital assets, several smaller cryptocurrencies delivered significant gains. Vanar Chain (VANRY) emerged as the strongest performer after soaring 59.8%. The rally came alongside $113.94 million in trading volume. EdgeX (EDGE) advanced 32.2%, while The Black Bull (ANSEM) climbed 33.9%. Yearn.finance (YFI) also posted a strong performance, gaining 33.4% during the session.
Blur (BLUR) added 28.5%, followed by Tung Tung Tung Sahur (TRIPLET), which rose 28.0%. BabyBoomToken (BBT) gained 26.5%, while Rootstock Infrastructure Framework (RIF) completed the top gainers with a 23.8% increase. Overall, Solana emerged as one of the few major cryptocurrencies to finish the day in positive territory. Meanwhile, Bitcoin, XRP, Dogecoin, Ethereum, BNB, and Hyperliquid ended the session lower, even as several smaller altcoins posted double-digit gains.
