Crypto Markets Wake Up With Bitcoin Back Above $63K and RAIN, ZEC, HYPE Surging

TL;DR

  • The crypto market opens the week in the green, as Bitcoin recovered the $63,000 level after hitting ten-day lows last Friday.
  • Spot BTC ETFs in the U.S. recorded net outflows of $390 million last week, the largest weekly withdrawal in six weeks.
  • RAIN and ZEC lead gains among large-cap altcoins, with increases of around 4%. HYPE rose 3.5% to $59.2.

The cryptomarket returns to green at the start of the week with Bitcoin trading around $63,600, a gain of nearly 1% that allows it to consolidate above the $63,000 threshold after a week dominated by sellers. The move partly mirrors the rebound in Nasdaq 100 futures, which rose 0.5% to their highest level since July 2, suggesting the world’s largest cryptocurrency remains aligned with equity market dynamics.

The picture from the previous week was discouraging: Bitcoin attempted to hold near $65,000 last Monday but was rejected at $65,400 and gradually lost ground until marking a ten-day low of $62,500 on Friday. The weekend passed without significant changes, until Monday morning brought a nearly $1,000 jump that pushed it to $63,600.

The Market Ignores ETF Outflows

Despite the modest recovery, the structural backdrop calls for caution. Spot bitcoin ETFs in the United States accumulated four consecutive days of net outflows last week, recording a total of $390 million in withdrawals, the highest weekly figure in six weeks. ETH ETFs recorded minimal flows, although Solana’s broke the trend with their largest weekly inflows since mid-May.

On the regulatory front, Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy Research, lowered the odds of the Clarity Act becoming law in 2026 to approximately 10%, in line with prediction markets that place it near 17%. The cloture vote in the Senate is scheduled for September 15, though analysts anticipate further delays.

Altcoins with Momentum

Among the largest-cap assets in the market, ZEC rose 4.7% to $508, supported by derivatives metrics showing active buying positioning and a positive funding rate of 10%. RAIN gained around 4% and HYPE climbed 3.5% to $59.2, extending a consistent upward streak.

Ethereum surpassed $1,900 with a 1.1% gain, while XRP trades exactly at $1.00 with a marginal change of 0.15%. BNB fell 0.4% and hovers around $605. Solana trades around $75.5 with a 0.4% gain. The total crypto market capitalization remains below $2.25 trillion, with a daily increase of less than $20 billion.
