The cryptocurrency market recorded widespread losses on February 1, with most major digital assets trading sharply lower.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST on February 1, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 6.11% to $78,746.62, while Ethereum (ETH) dropped 8.88% to $2,453.28. XRP (XRP) declined 3.97% to $1.66. Dogecoin (DOGE) slid 8.40% to $0.1053, Solana (SOL) plunged 10.34% to $105.61, and Avalanche (AVAX) fell 6.31% to $10.16. Shiba Inu (SHIB) decreased 4.67% to $0.056821, Aptos (APT) tumbled 11.39% to $1.27, while Pi (PI) dropped 6.99% to $0.1600.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Hyperliquid (HYPE) posted the largest 24-hour gain, rising 3.10%, while River (RIVER) recorded the steepest decline with a 31.27% drop.
Other notable altcoins included Obol (OBOL), which rose 3.17% to $0.02622, and Aleo (ALEO), which gained 7.64% to $0.1325.
