The cryptocurrency market recorded widespread losses on February 5, with most major digital assets trading sharply lower.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST on February 5, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 5.71% to $71,955.06, while Ethereum (ETH) dropped 5.92% to $2,131.86. XRP (XRP) declined 7.55% to $1.46. Dogecoin (DOGE) slipped 3.98% to $0.1033, Solana (SOL) plunged 7.30% to $91.64, and Avalanche (AVAX) fell 3.28% to $9.71. Shiba Inu (SHIB) decreased 2.54% to $0.056599, Aptos (APT) dropped 3.41% to $1.21, while Pi (PI) declined 2.57% to $0.1568.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Lighter (LIT) posted the largest 24-hour gain, rising 3.78%, while Zcash (ZEC) recorded the steepest decline with a 9.95% drop.
Other notable altcoins included Obol (OBOL), which fell 7.04% to $0.01927, and Aleo (ALEO), which slipped 0.54% to $0.0979.
