The cryptocurrency market recorded broad losses on January 16, with most major digital assets trading lower.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.02% to $95,462.21, Ethereum (ETH) declined 0.91% to $3,299.27, XRP (XRP dropped 2.47% to $2.07, Dogecoin (DOGE) slid 3.79% to $0.1394, Solana (SOL) fell 2.38% to $141.92, Avalanche (AVAX) dropped 4.89% to $13.75, Shiba Inu (SHIB) declined 3.44% to $0.0584, Worldcoin (WLD) fell 6.14% to $0.5579, and Pi (PI) slipped 1.96% to $0.2045.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Humanity Protocol (H) posted the largest day-on-day gain with a 7.71% rise, while Story (IP) recorded the steepest decline, falling 16.32%.
Other altcoins included Quai (QUAI), which rose 1.44% to $0.1103, and Aleo (ALEO), which fell 3.26% to $0.1208.
