The cryptocurrency market edged higher on October 1, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both posting modest gains while Worldcoin climbed more than 8%. Midnight recorded the strongest gain among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, while Avalanche posted the steepest decline.

According to CoinMarketCap at 10:00 a.m. KST on October 1, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 0.17% to $83,547.74, while Ethereum (ETH) gained 0.58% to $2,687.77. XRP slipped 0.23% to $1.49.
Solana (SOL) fell 1.02% to $118.01, while Tron (TRX) rose 1.08% to $0.3378. Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 0.99% to $0.09485.
Hedera (HBAR) rose 1.61% to $0.1046. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) declined 3.27% to $0.05525, while Worldcoin (WLD) surged 8.63% to $0.5426.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Midnight (NIGHT) posted the largest gain, rising 22.47% over 24 hours. Avalanche (AVAX), meanwhile, recorded the biggest decline, falling 4.97%.
Among other altcoins, Quai (QUAI) fell 3.37% to $0.01044, while Aleo (ALEO) surged 30.89% to $0.03299.
New cryptocurrencies listed on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours include Super Inu (SI) and zipcoin (ZC).
