The cryptocurrency market moved lower on October 15, with Bitcoin, Ethereum and most major cryptocurrencies posting losses. Pyth Network recorded the strongest gain among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, while Starknet fell more than 9%.
Cryptocurrency Prices on October 15, 2026. (IT Times)According to CoinMarketCap at 10:00 a.m. KST on October 15, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 2.05% from the previous day to $81,536.91. Ethereum (ETH) declined 3.55% to $2,412.87, while XRP dropped 3.22% to $1.32.
Solana (SOL) fell 2.70% to $104.32. Tron (TRX) rose 1.05% to $0.3316, making it the only major cryptocurrency among those listed to post a gain. Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 3.42% to $0.08155.
Avalanche (AVAX) dropped 3.48% to $9.92. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) fell 1.71% to $0.05693, while Worldcoin (WLD) declined 4.48% to $0.4928.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Pyth Network (PYTH) gained 5.22%, recording the strongest rise. Starknet (STRK), meanwhile, posted the steepest decline at 9.58%.
Other notable altcoins showed mixed performance. Quai Network (QUAI) fell 3.78% to $0.008807, while Aleo (ALEO) edged up 0.06% to $0.03907.
A newly listed coin on CoinMarketCap over the past 24 hours is WangChai (旺柴).
