The cryptocurrency market moved lower on October 6, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both declining while Midnight posted the strongest gain among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Sky recorded the steepest decline, falling 7.17%.

According to CoinMarketCap at 10:00 a.m. KST on October 6, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.98% from the previous day to $85,870.57. Ethereum (ETH) declined 0.38% to $2,713.71, while XRP fell 1.02% to $1.50.

Solana (SOL) slipped 0.25% to $120.92. Tron (TRX) edged down 0.01% to $0.3362, while Dogecoin (DOGE) fell 1.21% to $0.09524.

Avalanche (AVAX) rose 1.90% to $11.19. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) declined 0.78% to $0.05472, while Worldcoin (WLD) fell 1.32% to $0.5726.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Midnight (NIGHT) gained 11.59%, recording the strongest rise. Sky (SKY), meanwhile, posted the biggest decline at 7.17%.

Other notable altcoins showed mixed performance. Quai Network (QUAI) fell 7.08% to $0.01023, while Aleo (ALEO) declined 5.66% to $0.02816.

Coins newly listed on CoinMarketCap over the past 24 hours include Super Ishikawa (SI) and Hollowfall (ORE).
