The cryptocurrency market moved higher on September 15, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both gaining while Pons surged more than 20%. Pons recorded the strongest gain among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, while Filecoin was among the decliners.
Cryptocurrency Prices on September 15, 2026. (IT Times)According to CoinMarketCap at 10:00 a.m. KST on Sept. 15, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 1.54% from the previous day to $77,851.96, while Ethereum (ETH) gained 1.45% to $2,512.40. XRP climbed 5.57% to $1.42.
Solana (SOL) rose 3.00% to $102.39, while Tron (TRX) slipped 0.17% to $0.3382. Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 1.01% to $0.08362, while Avalanche (AVAX) advanced 3.10% to $7.55.
World Liberty Financial (WLFI) rose 1.57% to $0.05777, while Worldcoin (WLD) gained 1.44% to $0.3851.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Pons (PONS) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, surging 20.29%. Filecoin (FIL), meanwhile, fell 6.91%.
Elsewhere in the altcoin market, Quai Network (QUAI) fell 3.88% to $0.008683, while Aleo (ALEO) edged up 0.15% to $0.01695.
CoinMarketCap listed four new cryptocurrencies over the past 24 hours: Artificial Baby Inu (ABI), Raydium Cat (RAYCAT), X Link (XL), and FLAP (flap.sh, FLAP).
