The cryptocurrency market extended its losses on Sept. 2, with Bitcoin falling below $77,300 while Uniswap emerged as the top-performing asset among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to CoinMarketCap at 11:30 a.m. KST on Sept. 2, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.23% from the previous day to $77,269.69, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 2.02% to $2,408.68, as major cryptocurrencies remained under broad selling pressure.

XRP dropped 2.35% to $1.34, while Solana (SOL) fell 3.62% to $99.42. Tron (TRX) declined 3.07% to $0.3219, and Dogecoin (DOGE) slipped 2.09% to $0.08113.

Avalanche (AVAX) also extended its decline, while World Liberty Financial (WLFI) edged down 0.63% to $0.05704. Worldcoin (WLD) fell 0.95% to $0.362.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Uniswap (UNI) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, rising 13.27%. Flare (FLR) posted the steepest decline, falling 9.29%.

Elsewhere in the altcoin market, QUAI fell 3.27% to $0.008088, while ALEO declined 3.84% to $0.01652.

CoinMarketCap also added three newly listed cryptocurrencies over the past 24 hours: SIXSEVEN (67), TartSwap (TART), and Hallucoin (HALLU).
