The cryptocurrency market staged a strong rebound on Sept. 4, with Bitcoin climbing back above $80,000 while Pons emerged as the top-performing asset among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to CoinMarketCap at 11:00 a.m. KST on Sept. 4, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 4.19% from the previous day to $80,715.94, while Ethereum (ETH) gained 4.55% to $2,500.82, as major cryptocurrencies broadly moved higher.
XRP climbed 5.72% to $1.43, while Solana (SOL) rose 3.14% to $103.43. Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 5.05% to $0.0867, and Tron (TRX) advanced 1.39% to $0.3295.
Avalanche (AVAX) added 4.00% to $7.49. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) rose 2.60% to $0.05748, while Worldcoin (WLD) gained 6.07% to $0.3919.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Pons (PONS) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, soaring 35.84%. Pyth Network (PYTH) posted the steepest decline, falling 9.87%.
Elsewhere in the altcoin market, QUAI surged 15.01% to $0.00855, while ALEO gained 1.03% to $0.01707.
CoinMarketCap also added 10 newly listed cryptocurrencies over the past 24 hours: Justice for HeeHaw (HEEHAW), SOLI COIN (SOLI), Prologue (PROLOGUE), Mancer (MANCER), FLORK (FLORK), Longbow (BOW), NetNet (NET), Down to Finance (DTF), ember (EMBER), and Lil' Shrub (SHRUB).
