Dogecoin Price Prediction: Can $DOGE Reclaim $0.08 Before Another Dip?
CryptoCompass editorial visual for markets coverage.

This dogecoin price prediction starts with where $DOGE actually sits today: seven-cent territory, down 3.6%, well off the highs it printed earlier this year.

Nothing dramatic, but not exactly calm either. Compared to Shiba Inu and Pepe, both of which have also cooled off hard from their own peaks, $DOGE looks less like a coin breaking down and more like one catching its breath.

If volume comes back the way it has during Dogecoin's past rally phases, a retest of the $0.078-$0.083 zone isn't a stretch. And if that volume never shows up?

Then a drift back toward the low six-cent range it defended earlier this month is the more likely outcome.

Liquidation Heatmap: Who's Getting Squeezed

Look at the liquidation heatmap, and it's pretty obvious who's hurting right now. Longs, mostly. $5.22M of long positions got wiped out in the last 24 hours, compared to just $522.77K on the short side. Liquidation Heatmap

That gap widened fast, too. In just the last 4 hours, $1.12M in longs got flushed against barely $22.73K in shorts. Classic overleveraged-buyer story.

Traders piled into longs, the dip caught them off guard, and now the market probably needs to reset before any real move higher can stick.

Exchange Volume Heatmap

As for exchange volume, Binance is still running the show, handling close to $386M of activity, roughly a third of everything happening across the board. OKX comes in second at $286.5M. Exchange Volume Heatmap

BingX, Bybit, and MEXC fill out the next tier, somewhere between $88M and $121M each. Why does this matter?

Because a genuine breakout usually needs Binance-led volume behind it. Thin volume on smaller exchanges rarely does the job on its own.

4H Chart: Short-Term Structure

Switch to the 4-hour view, and the story flips a bit. $DOGE has been riding an ascending trendline support here, respecting it on every retest so far. dogecoin chart analysis

Buyers keep showing up right on cue. A volume-backed breakout above $0.0737 could carry the price through $0.0754 and on to $0.0770 fairly quickly.

But break this rising trendline, and things move fast in the other direction too, down to $0.0682 first, then $0.0663.daily chart analysis

1D Chart: Dogecoin Price Prediction Levels

Zoom out to the daily chart and you'll see $DOGE grinding along a falling trendline that's capped every single bounce for weeks now. Price is testing that line again as we speak.

Clear it on real volume, and the path opens up toward the first resistance level at $0.0779, then $0.0825, not far behind.

Fail to clear it, though, and the coin most likely rolls right back down into its familiar support zone near $0.0682. Below that, $0.0642 is the next cushion if sellers keep pressing.

A few chart analysts tracking Dogecoin volume profile have pointed to $0.081 as the first real resistance worth watching, with a much bigger supply zone sitting further out near $0.177 if that level ever clears. dogecoin twit on twitter

Several longer-term indicators, across the weekly and monthly timeframes, have also flipped toward buy signals recently.

That lines up with the idea that $DOGE could be forming a bottom here rather than kicking off a fresh leg lower.

None of this is a guarantee, obviously. but it does lean the case toward cautious optimism over outright pessimism for this dogecoin price prediction.

Holder Concentration

Worth keeping an eye on: holder concentration:  A meaningful chunk of Dogecoin's supply still sits with a relatively small group of large wallets, built up over years.

When those wallets move, even a single transfer, it tends to show up fast in short-term price swings. Retail participation stays broad, though, which makes sense given DOGE's mass-ETH-DOGE-creating supply and its low unit price.

Key Takeaways
  • DOGE is changing hands near $0.0702, down 3.6% today, stuck inside a tight $0.0693-$0.0733 range.

  • Every dogecoin price prediction worth its salt right now comes back to one question: does volume show up or not?

  • Longs got hit hard. Over $5.2M liquidated in 24 hours, versus just $522K on the short side.

  • Clear $0.0779 and $0.0825 next. Lose $0.0682 and $0.0642 comes into play.

BTC Dominance and ETH Correlation

BTC dominance has been sitting in the mid-to-high 50% range through July 2026. That's kept a lid on capital rotating into meme coins like DOGE, for now anyway.

There's also a fairly tight ETH-DOGE correlation at play; DOGE tends to move with the broader altcoin market rather than carving out its own path.

Until dominance eases up and rotation actually picks up steam, expect DOGE rallies to stay sharp but short.

Final Outlook

So where does that leave things? DOGE is squeezed between a falling daily trendline above and a rising 4-hour trendline below, and this dogecoin price prediction really comes down to which one gives way first.

A volume-backed push through $0.0779 validates the bullish case toward $0.0825, keeping the broader dogecoin rally story alive for the crypto dogecoin crowd that's stuck around all year.

Break the rising 4H support instead, and a retest of $0.0663 looks likely. For now, patience beats prediction.

Glossary

Trendline:  Basically just a line drawn across a series of highs or lows on a chart. It shows you which direction the price has generally been leaning.

Support Zone:  A price area where buyers have shown up before to slow down or reverse a decline. Think of it as a floor that's held in the past.

Resistance Level:  The opposite of support, really. A price zone where sellers have historically capped further upside.

Liquidation:  What happens when a leveraged position gets forcibly closed because losses ate through the trader's margin.

Holder Concentration:  A way of describing how much of a token's supply sits with a small number of wallets, rather than spread out across many.

Methodology

Every price level in this article comes straight from the 1D and 4H charts referenced at the time of writing; nothing here is extrapolated beyond what's actually visible on the chart.

Liquidation and volume figures reflect a specific snapshot in time and can shift quickly; this is crypto, after all.
