CEO Mark Zalan explains how the company is moving past basic crypto mining to build a massive financial ecosystem. A Grand Vision for Bitcoin's Future

GoMining wants a bigger piece of the Bitcoin pie. The company is rapidly moving beyond its roots in basic tokenised mining. They want to handle your payments. They want to manage your digital loans. Ultimately, they hope to become the central hub for all your crypto assets. CEO Mark Zalan laid out this ambitious roadmap recently at Token2049 in Singapore. His ultimate goal is clear. GoMining wants to make Bitcoin practical for everyday use, rather than just a digital rock you hoard in a vault.

Making Crypto Mining Accessible

Mining Bitcoin used to require a massive bankroll. You needed expensive servers, huge data centers, and dirt-cheap electricity. GoMining actually started out this way as a commercial miner. Then they realized there was a massive untapped market in making this process accessible to regular people. They built a digital miner product. This tool uses tokenized hash power to hide all the complicated physical infrastructure from the user. Anyone can buy a digital miner through the GoMining app for just $25. From there, users can upgrade their computing power or energy efficiency whenever they want.

The Reality of Mining Profits

This digital approach is a clever alternative to running hot, noisy servers in your garage. But the actual profits still depend heavily on the price of Bitcoin and network difficulty. Zalan pointed out that mining has often been more lucrative than simply buying and holding the coin. During bear markets, historical returns hovered around 25 to 30 percent. In bull markets, those numbers historically shot up to 80 or 90 percent. Of course, past performance never guarantees future results.

Building a True Crypto Super App

GoMining is steadily morphing into a comprehensive financial platform. Zalan calls it a Bitcoin super app. The idea is to merge raw crypto mining with traditional financial services. The platform now pays out yield on both Bitcoin and stablecoin balances. Zalan mentioned annual rates sitting comfortably around 10 to 11 per cent. They pay out this interest every four hours. There are no annoying lockup periods. If you need cash but want to keep your crypto, the company also issues stablecoin loans. You simply use your Bitcoin or digital miners as collateral. They are even working on a payment card. Every time you swipe it, you earn rewards in the form of terahash power. Users will need to pay attention, though. Earning yield and taking out loans introduce completely different risks compared to basic mining.

A Fix for Sluggish Crypto Payments

The most fascinating part of this strategy might be GoBTC Pay. This custom payment solution promises instant confirmation for Bitcoin transactions. Zalan explained that they use their own massive mining infrastructure to verify these payments quickly. The company manages around 18 to 19 exahashes of computing power. Because of this scale, the cost is practically zero. It runs about one satoshi per transaction. This solves a massive headache for the industry. Bitcoin is notoriously terrible for buying small, everyday items. Fixing this friction could finally allow Bitcoin to act like actual currency.

Preparing for AI-Driven Economies

Zalan also brought up a compelling use case involving artificial intelligence. Autonomous AI agents are starting to perform tasks and buy things on behalf of human users. These digital agents need a reliable, secure way to transfer value. Zalan argues that Bitcoin is the perfect fit here. It is totally neutral and highly liquid. It also strictly blocks chargebacks. He contrasted this with stablecoins. Central issuers control those assets and can freeze funds or block transactions at will. It is a bold prediction for a market that is still brand new, and nobody knows exactly what payment infrastructure will eventually win out.

Conclusion

GoMining is placing bets across the entire digital asset board. They are tackling mining, lending, crypto yield, and everyday payments. It is a complex strategy that goes far beyond simply buying coins on an exchange. Zalan advocates for steady, long-term participation through dollar-cost averaging. You buy small amounts of crypto on a regular schedule regardless of the price. The company has not announced a firm launch date for the wider rollout of GoBTC Pay. Their success hinges entirely on execution. If they can convince users to treat Bitcoin as a tool for daily spending, their ambitious gamble might pay off.
