Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced a notable pause in activity as daily net inflows flatlined at zero over a recent three-day period. According to the latest data from SoSoValue, this stagnation occurred on July 22, 23, and 24, highlighting a prolonged pattern of inactivity that has characterized much of the month.
This pause in inflows was interrupted earlier in the week when on July 21, Dogecoin ETFs saw an inflow of $345,130. This brief moment of investment enthusiasm brought an end to an earlier zero-inflow streak that had persisted since early July. Such fluctuations are not uncommon for cryptocurrency ETFs that aren’t focused on blue-chip assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Analysts suggest that niche crypto funds often experience sporadic trading volumes and erratic inflow patterns due to relatively lower visibility and institutional interest.
As of July 24, Dogecoin ETFs have managed to cross the $12 million mark in cumulative net inflows. SoSoValue reports that the total net investments in these funds have reached $12.12 million. This recent inflow of $345,130 signifies the first positive net inflow reported since mid-June, marking a notable milestone.
Dogecoin’s price continued to struggle, dropping slightly to $0.07, affected by declining trends seen across the cryptocurrency market. Meanwhile, open interest in DOGE futures reached $1.10 billion, suggesting a potential increase in derivative trading activities, though spot prices remain under pressure.
Crypto analysts remain attentive as a prominent technical indicator, the Tom DeMark (TD) Sequential, signals a buy opportunity on the Dogecoin monthly chart. If the asset holds above the crucial support level of $0.056, there could be a potential rebound toward significant price targets of $0.16 and even $0.45 in the long run. In essence, the immediate price movements alongside technical signals indicate that Dogecoin remains an asset to watch for developments in the near future.
