Until now, a BitFlip player's main choice was to stay in an UP or DOWN position for the round. The new marketplace adds another option. Users can buy available tickets, or sell their own positions to other players, rather than holding to the end.
Timing is fixed within each round. According to the announcement, the marketplace opens at 5:00 after the price lock and closes at 2:00. That gives a defined window in which positions can change hands before the round settles.
The announcement did not give details on pricing, fees or how tickets are valued. Readers should check InterLink's official channels for those specifics before taking part.
BitFlip is one of several applications on InterLink Chain. It is described as the first fully on-chain game, initially designed for blockchain stress testing. One community analysis describes it as a fully on-chain Bitcoin price prediction game that records prices, locks positions and settles payouts every five minutes.
