The Linkers Map app (@LinkersMap) has passed the $ITLG payment test-phase validation, the last stage before its mainnet launch. The app is part of the InterLink Network ecosystem (@inter_link).

The new feature includes a dual-asset checkout alongside payment settlement in $ITL. The point-of-sale function is set to be made available to the network's verified user base, which is cited at more than 10 million users. Merchant payment transactions are now close to launch.

What Linkers Map Does

Linkers Map is a geo-commerce marketplace and merchant discovery platform within InterLink Network, according to a KuCoin News Insight post. It connects InterLink users with physical merchants, products and services that support digital payments. The same post says the platform has more than 1,500 registered merchants across six continents, with a near-term target of 2,000. These figures come from InterLink and have not been independently audited.

The standard user flow, as described there, starts in the ITLX Wallet. Users open Linkers Map, find a nearby participating merchant, view payment options and pay with $ITL. The transaction then settles on the InterLink chain. On the merchant side, a store owner creates a profile, connects a wallet, submits it for review and goes live once approved.

The platform's own store registration page states that ITL is currently the active payment method for stores. It adds that stablecoins are visible but will only be available in a future release, according to the Linkers Map store registration page. The dual-asset checkout now cleared in testing would therefore extend beyond the current single-asset setup.

How ITLG and ITL Fit Together

InterLink Network runs a dual-token model. According to a Plisio overview of the project, ITLG (Interlink Genesis Token) is the user-facing token earned through Proof of Personhood mining and used for governance and rewards. ITL is described there as the ecosystem instrument intended for strategic partners, large-scale capital and on-chain payment rails, with a fixed supply of 10 billion.

InterLink's own materials describe the network as a human-verified blockchain built by Interlink Labs, where each account is meant to map to one verified person. Verified users act as Human Nodes, per the Interlink Network website. The same site states that Interlink Labs has not published one confirmed public mainnet or exchange-listing date, so the timing of the Linkers Map mainnet launch has not been confirmed beyond the project's statement that it is close.

Token roles differ by use case. A KuCoin News Insight explainer on token utility lists Linkers Map and merchant payments under ITL, with ITLG focused on social apps, gaming and rewards. It also notes that some activities may involve both tokens, for example when a user pays in ITLG while the underlying settlement uses ITL.

Readers should treat user and merchant numbers as project-reported. Crypto payment apps can move from test phase to live release on varying timelines, and no firm launch date has been given.
