June 2026 Update: Agentic Audits, Data Safeguards, and the RWA Stack
CryptoCompass editorial visual for altcoins coverage.

Hello aarnâuts! We’re back with the June update.TL;DR

  • Mainnet audits completed - extensive smart contract audits through agentic tooling and testing.
  • Agent-based security framework built - custom agents for cross-chain trust, oracles, signatures, vault-NAV, and weird tokens.
  • Backend data protection added - "Break glass" and "JIT" controls restrict user data access, even for admins.
  • RWA stack advancing - issuance, identity, compliance, and settlement layers progressing, partners moving toward integration.
  • Sri in The Economic Times - op-ed on tokenisation as capital-market infrastructure for India.
  • On the un# podcast - Sri sat down with Steven Goldfeder of Offchain and Jake Brukhman of CoinFund.

Mainnet audits completed

We completed extensive smart contract auditing through agentic tooling and intensive testing ahead of mainnet.

Our agent-based security framework

We developed our own agent-based framework for smart-contract security testing, with parallel specialists targeting distinct vulnerability classes. Custom agents for cross-chain trust, oracles, signatures, vault-NAV, and weird tokens extend it to the attack surfaces where most tooling falls short.

Break glass and JIT controls

On the backend, we implemented “Break glass” and “JIT” (just-in-time) access controls that restrict access to user data even from an operator or admin perspective. Access to sensitive data is granted only when it is needed.

RWA stack progress

Work continued on our RWA stack: the issuance, identity, compliance, and settlement layers for regulated real-world assets onchain. Partner engagement across asset management, banking, and settlement rails also advanced, with several moving toward integration.

Sri’s op-ed in The Economic Times

Sri Misra wrote an op-ed in The Economic Times, “Not Just Token, But Cap-Mkt Infra,” arguing that India should treat tokenisation as a capital-market infrastructure question rather than a digital-asset side theme. The piece makes the case for a tokenisation framework within GIFT City: a regulated access rail that lets approved global capital reach Indian financial assets without touching domestic money.

On the un# podcast

This month, the un# podcast hosted two builders: one on the infrastructure carrying institutions onchain, and one on the intersection of blockchains with AI.

Steven Goldfeder, Offchain

Co-founded the company behind Arbitrum in 2018 and walked through its rebrand from Offchain Labs to Offchain, reflecting a move beyond scaling research into a full stack of infrastructure for institutions building onchain financial markets.

Jake Brukhman, CoinFund

Founded CoinFund in 2015, before the Ethereum mainnet, and made a sharp case for decentralized AI: the compute to counterbalance the largest AI labs has to come from decentralized networks, a thesis CoinFund published in 2022 and still holds.

Looking forward...

June was about strengthening the foundation: security audits completed ahead of mainnet, tighter controls on data access, and steady progress on the RWA stack as partners move toward integration.

As more capital and infrastructure move onchain, our focus stays the same: build with discipline, ship faster without cutting corners, and keep human judgment in the loop even as we automate more of the work.
