Kanye West Wallet Moves 1,445 ETH to Binance
A wallet attributed to rapper Kanye West has transferred 1,445 $ETH to @Binance, according to on-chain data flagged by Arkham. The move marks the wallet's first ETH transfer to an exchange in approximately 11 months. The transaction drew immediate attention from on-chain analysts tracking high-profile crypto addresses.
The wallet withdrew 1,445 ETH from Aave and subsequently deposited it into Binance, with the transfer valued at approximately $3.91 million. The withdrawal from Aave, a decentralised lending protocol, preceded several consolidation transactions before the funds landed on the centralised exchange.
What the On-Chain Data Shows
This marks the wallet's first deposit operation in 11 months, following the peak of the previous bull market in October 2025.Despite the transfer, the wallet still holds on-chain crypto assets worth approximately $26.7 million.
The data was surfaced by Arkham, a blockchain analytics platform that deanonymizes blockchain activity by connecting wallets to well-known individuals and large organisations. It is worth noting that wallet attributions made by on-chain tools are based on probabilistic labelling, and the identity of any wallet's owner cannot be confirmed with absolute certainty from public blockchain data alone.
Whether the deposit signals an intent to sell, rebalance, or simply consolidate holdings remains unclear. Large inflows to centralised exchanges from notable wallets are often interpreted by traders as a potential precursor to selling activity, though that outcome is far from guaranteed.
