Lido, the liquid staking protocol behind the widely used stETH token, has rolled out a major infrastructure upgrade designed to boost validator efficiency and push Ethereum’s consensus layer toward leaner operation.

The new release, called Curated Module v2, adds native support for Ethereum’s 0x02 withdrawal credentials. This technical change allows individual validators to carry an effective balance of up to 2,048 ETH, a dramatic rise from the previous ceiling of 32 ETH per validator.
