Monaco has opened its invite-only mainnet on @SeiNetwork ($SEI), allowing traders to use real funds and real leverage. The launch follows the public testnet release for @MonacoTrading and moves the project closer to a full public rollout.

Who Gets Access to the Monaco Mainnet

Anyone who traded on the public testnet is admitted immediately. Each of those users also receives one invite code to share with a friend, plus an additional code for every 250,000 $USDC in trading volume. Other users can request a code through Monaco's Telegram chat.

The access model matches the staged plan Monaco outlined earlier. In its private alpha announcement, the team set out a roadmap that ran from a private testnet for design partners, to a public testnet in mid-2026, to a public mainnet in the second half of 2026. The public testnet went live in July 2026, according to a weekly summary from the Sei account.

What Monaco Is Building on Sei

Monaco is an order book trading layer incubated by @Sei_Labs, built for spot trading, perpetual futures and prediction markets. According to Sei's own blog, it is a central limit order book that works as a shared liquidity layer, so other applications can tap into its liquidity instead of building their own trading infrastructure. Sei says the system targets execution of under one millisecond and settlement on Sei in 400 milliseconds. Those figures are the project's own claims and have not been independently verified.

The team comes from trading desks at Goldman Sachs, GSR, Hudson River Trading, Jump Crypto, Robinhood and Point72. A third-party airdrop guide also says Monaco Research is led by former Goldman Sachs and GSR executive Simran Singh.

Monaco's launch announcement in August 2025 described a programmatic revenue-sharing model called PitPass, intended to pay builders for the order flow they route to the venue. It also listed support for spot and perpetual futures trading with up to 100x leverage, according to the PR Newswire release. Traders should treat leverage products as high risk, since losses can exceed expectations when positions move sharply.

Monaco has not announced a token or airdrop, according to one third-party guide that tracks the testnet. Any claims of a confirmed reward should be treated as unverified until Monaco or Sei Labs says otherwise.
