Mysterious trader buys ahead of Trump's meeting
Ahead of Trump's White House meeting with crypto executives, a mysterious trader bought 5,000 Ethereum (ETH) worth $9.53 million to stake it, the onchain analysis platform Lookonchain revealed on Aug. 17.
A crypto trader's wallet address remains public, but their name rarely becomes public. That is why such a crypto trader is also called a "mysterious trader" whose identity remains anonymous.
With a market capitalization of $232.82 million, Ether is the world's second-largest cryptocurrency. Staking is the process of locking up 32 ETH to help secure the blockchain network, verify transactions, and earn passive rewards.
As per Lookonchain, the said trader has bought a total of 10,657 ETH worth $20.07 million.
