Ondo (@Ondo) $ONDO Intelligent Portfolios have arrived on Gate (@Gate), giving users access to curated portfolios through single onchain tokens. Supported portfolios qualify for Soft Staking with an estimated 8% APR and no lock-up, and Gate's Launchpool is offering BLKHIon rewards for staking USDT, BLKHIon, MAG7Xon or BLKGRWon.
Ondo Finance launched Ondo Intelligent Portfolios as a new onchain product category: curated portfolios delivered as single onchain transferable tokens. Investors mint or redeem a single token to hold a weighted basket of tokenized assets, without buying, weighting, or rebalancing individual positions themselves. Each portfolio token is issued by Ondo Global Markets and tokenized by Ondo Finance.
The first three portfolios were announced on Sept. 24. BLKHIon is Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock, BLKDIGon is Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock, and BLKGRWon is Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock. BlackRock's role is limited. The firm provides nondiscretionary model portfolio strategies to Ondo based on specifications provided by Ondo.
The lineup also includes in-house products. The BlackRock trio sits beside four in-house Ondo portfolios, including YLD8on, YLD5on, MAG7Xon and BRAINon. MAG7Xon pairs the Magnificent Seven with crypto: 80% equal-weight Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, Meta and Tesla, plus 15% Bitcoin and 5% Ethereum.
The Gate listing adds yield mechanics on top of the portfolio tokens. Soft Staking applies to supported portfolios, with an estimated 8% APR and no lock-up period. The APR is an estimate and not a guaranteed return, so users should check current terms on Gate before participating.
Launchpool gives holders another route to rewards. Users can stake USDT, BLKHIon, MAG7Xon or BLKGRWon to earn BLKHIon incentives.
Availability is restricted. The products are open only to eligible investors outside the United States. The tokens have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933. Holders get economic exposure to the basket, not a BlackRock security.
The listing follows a period of growth for the $ONDO ecosystem. ONDO traded at $0.5026, up 21.8% over the previous 24 hours, as the Intelligent Portfolios product launched on Sept. 24. Wider distribution through exchanges such as Gate is consistent with the stated design of the tokens, which are transferable peer-to-peer across wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols.
