Key Insights

  • Pi Network coin stabilizes above $0.0700 as buyers test resistance near $0.08.
  • SLICE routes committed Test-Pi into liquidity instead of project funding.
  • Bullish RSI divergence supports a rebound, although the wider trend stays bearish.

Pi Network coin traded near $0.0785 on Wednesday after recovering roughly 4% over 24 hours. The bounce followed a steep weekly decline that briefly pushed PI toward $0.073. Selling pressure has eased, but price still trades below the key $0.08 barrier.

The move also came as Pi Network detailed its updated Launchpad model following the distribution of SLICE test tokens. The design sends the committed Test-Pi into a liquidity pool rather than transferring it to the issuing project. That structure aims to give ecosystem tokens usable liquidity from their first day while linking them to application functions.

Pi Network Coin Holds Support After Sharp Weekly Decline

Pi Network coin has stabilized above $0.0700 after losing nearly 20% during the latest seven-day slide. Price data showed PI near $0.0785, with an intraday range between roughly $0.0746 and $0.0805. The token also approached $0.08 during the session, but buyers failed to secure a firm breakout.

The rebound appears tied mainly to improving conditions across the wider crypto market. Bitcoin and Ether also advanced, supporting a beta-driven recovery in smaller assets, CoinMarketCap data showed. That makes the latest Pi coin price move sensitive to broader risk appetite rather than an isolated network update.

Support sits near $0.074, where buyers defended the latest pullback, TradingView data showed. A break below that level could expose the recent low around $0.070. Conversely, sustained trading above $0.08 would improve the short-term structure and reduce immediate selling pressure.

Launchpad Sends Test-Pi Into the SLICE Liquidity Pool

Meanwhile, Pi coin news has focused on the completed SLICE distribution and its post-launch trading tools. Pi Network said more than 242,000 Pioneers committed 15.92 million Test-Pi between June 11 and June 28. Participants received allocations from a supply of 10 million SLICE test tokens.

Unlike many token sales, the committed Test-Pi does not go to the project. It enters a liquidity pool paired with SLICE. The model establishes trading depth while connecting tokens to app access, payments, rewards, governance, and engagement.

The pool works beside Pi DEX’s traditional order book. It also uses an automated market maker to price swaps from the available SLICE and Test-Pi reserves. When users buy SLICE, its reserve falls while Test-Pi rises. That shift increases the displayed SLICE price.

Pi Network uses a constant-product formula for the pool. The product of both reserves stays constant before fees. This allows prices to adjust automatically as traders add or remove either asset.

Pi Network Coin Faces $0.08 Test as RSI Divergence Builds

Additionally, the Pi Network coin chart shows early signs of a technical rebound. A bullish RSI divergence has developed as momentum improves while price holds near recent lows. That signal can support a recovery, although it does not confirm a trend reversal on its own.

The immediate test remains $0.08. Strong volume above that level could open room for a broader recovery after the recent decline. Weak volume or another rejection would keep the Pi coin price inside a corrective bounce.

Macro conditions remain another risk. The Federal Reserve concludes its July 28–29 policy meeting on Wednesday. Its statement is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. A stronger risk-on reaction could help PI extend gains. Renewed market pressure could send price back toward $0.074.

SLICE will remain a Testnet-only asset and will not migrate to Mainnet. Pioneers can now review allocations, launch prices, effective purchase prices, liquidity data, and live swap charts inside the Launchpad interface.
