nOPAL Comes to Bybit RWA Earn
Plume Network has added its nOPAL vault to Bybit's RWA Earn platform, giving eligible users a new route into tokenized Brazilian credit card receivables. The product, managed by BlackOpal Finance, is settled through Visa and Mastercard payment rails and denominated in USDC.
nOPAL carried a 30-day rolling yield of about 12% and more than $70 million in total value locked as of August 2026, according to the companies. Bybit said redemptions are accepted daily and generally settle within one to five business days, with a minimum investment of 500 USDC.
Plume says the underlying Brazilian consumer credit market represents roughly $3 trillion. The vault's mechanics reflect how the asset class works in practice: BlackOpal purchases future receivables from merchants at a discount, a true sale registered in Brazil's Central Bank C3 Registry, with collections flowing automatically through Visa and Mastercard settlement rails.
Because the underlying receivables are denominated in Brazilian reais, nOPAL uses non-deliverable forwards to manage BRL/USD exposure. The product allows deposits without KYC requirements and charges no redemption fees, positioning it toward DeFi-native users.
Plume's Growing Distribution Footprint
The Bybit listing is part of a broader push by Plume Network to extend the reach of its Nest Vault ecosystem across major platforms and chains. Plume says the vault ecosystem has processed more than $1 billion in deposits and redemptions to date. Plume tokenizes real-world assets including private credit and trade receivables, making institutional yield accessible on-chain through its Nest vaults.
Earlier distribution milestones underscore the pace of expansion. In June 2026, Plume and EtherFi announced a $100 million deposit into the Plume RWA vault. The network has also taken nOPAL to Pendle's Ethereum mainnet and to Avalanche, broadening the pool of users who can access the product.
Bybit notes that RWA Earn products are not principal-protected and that historical APR figures are not guaranteed.
