Plume Network's Vaults products generated about $1.04 million in fees over the past 30 days, according to DefiLlama data, in what appears to be their strongest month on record. @plumenetwork's vaults also reached an all-time high total value locked (TVL) of more than $238 million on October 16.
The increase in fees has been driven by usage of the Vaults themselves, as more capital moves into the product.
What Plume Vaults Does
Plume Vaults is the rebranded name for the Nest vault product. According to Crypto Briefing, the vaults consolidate assets such as US Treasuries, private credit and collateralized loan obligations into non-custodial, yield-generating tokens. Those tokens accrue value automatically, so holders do not need to claim or reinvest returns manually.
DefiLlama classes the product as a real-world asset (RWA) protocol. On its Plume Vaults page, the data provider says fees reflect total yields generated from real-world asset strategies in Nest vaults, including platform fees. This differs from protocol revenue, which DefiLlama defines as platform fees collected by Nest Credit protocol. The fee figure therefore measures yield generated by the underlying assets, not income retained by Plume.
The same DefiLlama page shows Plume Vaults ranking ninth by TVL among RWA protocols it tracks. TVL is spread across several networks, with Plume Mainnet, Ethereum, BSC and Solana all holding material balances.
Expansion and Institutional Interest
Plume has been widening the reach of the product. CoinDCX reported that the vaults went live on Monad and on a newly launched blockchain from a major US trading app on October 10, taking the cross-chain footprint from four to six networks.
On October 5, Plume announced nBND, a vault backed primarily by the Fidelity Total Bond ETF (FBND), according to FinTech Global. The report said the Plume Nest Vaults protocol provides compliant, non-custodial access to assets from firms including Apollo, WisdomTree and Hamilton Lane.
Plume has also taken its vault model to US regulators. Crypto Briefing reported on October 21 that the company presented a vault regulatory framework to the SEC's Crypto Task Force, and put 30-day fees across the Nest vaults at about $1.02 million at that time.
DefiLlama figures move daily. Its Plume Vaults page showed 30-day fees of $968,162 and TVL of $235.15 million at the time of writing, so readers should check the live data for current readings. The $PLUME token is the native asset of the network.
