@plumenetwork's Vaults have posted one of the more striking TVL moves in the real-world asset sector this month. Total value locked across Plume Vaults has risen roughly 65% over the past 30 days, reaching nearly $233 million at the time of writing, according to @BSCNews.

A Rare TVL-to-Market-Cap Setup

What makes the numbers stand out is the relationship between the protocol's TVL and its token valuation. The $PLUME token carries a market cap of approximately $120 million, meaning Plume Vaults' TVL is nearly double the value of the token itself. That is an unusual position for any L1 blockchain, where native token market caps tend to run well above ecosystem TVL.

DefiLlama data shows Plume Vaults operating across eight chains, with the protocol ranking as the dominant application on the Plume Mainnet by locked value. The vaults offer yields sourced from real-world credit instruments rather than token emissions, with rates advertised at up to 19% APY on the network's own site.

Institutional Demand Driving Growth

The growth has been supported by a run of institutional allocations. In June 2026, ether.fi directed $100 million into a Plume RWA vault called nBASIS, one of the larger single deployments into the ecosystem to date. Separately, Bybit listed the nOPAL credit vault, which crossed $70 million in TVL and offered around 12% yield, broadening retail access to the product suite.

Plume's own Q2 2026 update noted the network closed that quarter with over $115 million in RWA TVL, meaning the figure has roughly doubled since then. The network also reported more than 200,000 RWA holders, a metric it claims leads comparable chains including Solana and Ethereum in that category.

Plume describes itself as a full-stack L1 purpose-built for real-world asset finance (RWAfi), with native compliance tooling, protocol-level AML screening, and SEC transfer agent registration completed in October 2025. The institutional partner list includes Apollo, WisdomTree, and FalconX, among others.

Whether the TVL premium over token market cap narrows through token price appreciation or stabilises as a structural feature of a yield-focused chain remains to be seen. For now, the vault growth is making Plume one of the harder-to-ignore RWA stories in the current cycle.
