@0xPolygon has integrated @Solana into its Open Money Stack, a payments platform that links bank accounts with crypto transfers and payouts. Businesses building on the network can now use a single API to handle fiat pay-ins, stablecoin custody and international payments.

The integration was announced on October 29, according to The Block.

How the Solana Integration Works

$SOL-based applications can accept deposits through bank transfers, credit cards, cash and digital assets. Funds are then moved into built-in custodial or non-custodial wallets.

A settlement engine converts fiat dollars into digital dollars and back again. It does this through liquidity routing across $SOL, Ethereum, $TRON and other EVM-compatible chains. Crypto Briefing reports that the stack accepts inflows through ACH, cards and cash before converting them into stablecoins for payouts.

Polygon says developers do not need to run their own bridges or pre-fund liquidity to reach Solana, according to the same report. Businesses can adopt the full stack or use individual components alongside existing systems, Bitcoin.com News reported.

Polygon CEO Marc Boiron said customers want to avoid forcing a chain choice or stitching together a bank provider, wallet, routing service and payout partner for each network, Cointelegraph reported. The broader stack was already available for eligible uses on Polygon, Ethereum and other EVM networks.

Customers, Context and Strategy

Kira, which provides US dollar accounts and stablecoin-based cross-border payment services to businesses, is among the first customers using the Solana integration, per Cointelegraph.

The expansion follows Polygon's addition of TRON support and its acquisition of Coinme. Cointelegraph reports the Coinme deal gives Polygon's US payments business 37 money transmitter licenses and 11 state exemptions, covering 48 states. CoinDesk reported in January that Polygon Labs signed agreements to acquire Coinme and wallet provider Sequence for more than $250 million to anchor the Open Money Stack.

Solana Foundation Chief Product Officer Vibhu Norby said the network processed more than $5.5 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026, according to The Block. Other outlets, including Bitcoin.com News, cite a figure of about $5 trillion, so the exact total varies by report.

Polygon already supported transfers between Solana and Ethereum-compatible networks through its Trails service since August, Cryptobreaking reported. The new integration extends that to banking and payout functions.
