Tighter Signal selection and a rebuilt feed put Q's forecasts, market prices and research together, ranked around the sports and teams users follow.
Quotient Solutions, Inc. today launched the new Quotient Signals app at app.quotient.social, with tighter Signal selection and a rebuilt feed ranked around the sports and teams users follow. The feed brings Q's forecast, the market price and the supporting research together, so traders can see where Q disagrees with the market and why.
Q is Quotient's AI forecaster. Quotient publishes Signals where Q's forecasts identify an edge over market prices. Traders can start with a team or a covered market and examine the research and risks behind each Signal. Users make their own trading decisions and execute on separate venues.
“We looked at where Q actually does best and rebuilt the app around that,” said Jordan Olmstead, CEO of Quotient. “We also wanted to make it as easy as possible to see what Q thinks and why, and to know when it was right or wrong, so you can decide how much weight to give it next time.”
In its public forecast evaluation, updated October 19, Q's forecasts scored better than Polymarket prices recorded at the same times in 1,976 of 3,282 resolved markets, or 60.2%, using forecasts from the preceding 60 days. The comparison uses Brier scores, a measure of probability error, across all covered markets. It measures forecast accuracy, not trading returns. Every published Signal is scored after its market resolves, and the full record, misses included, is public at app.quotient.social/performance.
Sports is where the launch starts because familiar teams, scheduled games and near-term results make the process easy to follow: read the research, compare the prices, check the outcome. Q forecasts the games that carry most of each league's daily volume across the NFL, college football, the NBA, MLB, the NHL, tennis and more, and also researches politics, economic events and geopolitics. The same forecasts are available to developers and trading agents through Quotient's API (quotient.social/docs).
Quotient Live will introduce the app with a walkthrough of Signals and audience questions.
Quotient is moving to paid memberships. Users will no longer need to hold $QUOTIENT to use the app. Existing users receive their first two months free and can find their personal code by signing in with their existing account. Member access is $49.99 a month or $400 a year; Pro is $149 a month or $1,200 a year. Quotient is also planning its first Signals competition with $QUOTIENT prizes; timing and rules will be announced separately.
