Ripple's $RLUSD stablecoin has recorded $128.6 million in inflows over the past 24 hours, the strongest daily gain among major stablecoins by that measure. The increase has lifted the circulating supply of Ripple USD above $2.5 billion.
The inflows are linked to institutional treasury routing and growing liquidity integrations at exchanges including @Coinbase and @RobinhoodCrypto. The 24-hour inflow figure could not be independently confirmed against public dashboards at the time of writing.
Supply Growth Since the $2 Billion Mark
RLUSD launched in December 2024. The stablecoin surpassed $2 billion in market capitalization in less than two years, with supply spread almost evenly across the XRP Ledger and Ethereum. Ripple issues RLUSD natively on both networks rather than bridging a single supply between them.
By late September, CoinMarketCap data showed a total supply of about 2.52 billion RLUSD , according to TradingView News. Crypto Basic reported that Ripple minted $790 million worth of the stablecoin over 30 days across Ethereum and the XRP Ledger , citing a community-run supply tracker. The same report noted that Ripple also burned a substantial amount in that period, though net supply change was positive.
Market cap estimates vary by data provider and date. Recent reports put RLUSD between $2.4 billion and $2.6 billion.
Coinbase and Robinhood Expand Distribution
On October 28, Coinbase added RLUSD to its retail app, exchange and institutional platform. Customers can trade and manage the token through Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Exchange and the Coinbase retail app. Coinbase will enable deposits and withdrawals on the XRP Ledger, Ethereum and Base. Ripple will supply liquidity on Base to encourage trading and adoption within the network's DeFi ecosystem.
The listing followed a rating from Moody's. Moody's Ratings assigned the stablecoin an A2 long-term rating and a P-1 short-term rating, its highest short-term category.
Robinhood is also part of the push. Ripple agreed with Robinhood to introduce RLUSD into its trading ecosystem and support institutional settlement using the XRP Ledger. According to Treasury XL, RLUSD is already available via Robinhood Chain and the crypto exchange Bitstamp.
Still Small Next to Market Leaders
RLUSD remains a small player in the wider market. Blockchain Reporter, citing CoinGecko data, noted that RLUSD is about $2.4 billion in market cap, while USDC stands near $71 billion. Tether's USDT still leads by a wide margin.
Ripple has positioned the token mainly for business use. It is pitched as infrastructure for cross-border payments, treasury management, liquidity and institutional settlement rather than as a retail trading asset. One report also noted that more RLUSD on the XRP Ledger can add ledger activity, but it does not require stablecoin holders to buy XRP.
