Robinhood is bringing crypto perpetual futures to eligible U.S. customers, extending one of crypto’s largest derivatives markets into its domestic trading app.

The rollout will support BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, ADA, LINK and HYPE, allowing traders to take long or short positions without an expiration date. Bitcoin and Ether perpetuals will offer leverage of up to 10x, while the remaining six markets will be capped at 3x leverage. The contracts are scheduled to arrive in the coming months.

The U.S. expansion follows Robinhood’s earlier perpetual futures rollout in Europe, where the company has already pushed derivatives beyond crypto into commodities, ETFs and foreign exchange.

Bitstamp Will Power the U.S. Perpetuals Offering

The contracts will be offered by Robinhood Derivatives through Bitstamp. Robinhood Derivatives is a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant and a member of the National Futures Association.

Trading fees will start at 0.01% per transaction through the end of 2026. Traders will also be able to set stop-loss and take-profit orders, monitor liquidation prices in real time and receive alerts when leveraged positions approach liquidation levels.

Perpetual futures differ from conventional dated futures because positions can remain open indefinitely while margin and funding mechanisms keep contract prices aligned with their underlying markets. Higher leverage reduces the collateral required to control a position but also narrows the price movement needed to trigger liquidation.

U.S. Crypto Perps Market Keeps Expanding

Robinhood enters a U.S. market that has opened rapidly to perpetual-style crypto derivatives during 2026.

The CFTC created a faster route for crypto perpetual futures in June, allowing qualifying registered exchanges to remove expiration dates from existing digital commodity contracts when specified customer-protection and filing conditions are met.

Kraken followed days later with U.S. crypto perps covering major assets including Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Chainlink and Dogecoin.

Robinhood already offers conventional crypto futures to U.S. customers and has spent 2026 expanding derivatives, tokenization and onchain products around its Bitstamp acquisition and Robinhood Chain strategy.

The new perpetual markets will sit directly inside the Robinhood app for eligible U.S. accounts. Robinhood has not yet published an exact launch date beyond the coming months, leaving the eight announced contracts and leverage limits as the initial U.S. product lineup.
