Robinhood Chain traded $874.8 million on decentralized exchanges Aug. 30, the busiest day for the Layer 2 network since its public mainnet opened on Jul. 1. Key Points: Robinhood Chain record
Robinhood Chain traded $874.8 million on decentralized exchanges Aug. 30, the busiest day for the Layer 2 network since its public mainnet opened on Jul. 1.
Key Points:
- Robinhood Chain recorded $874.8 million in decentralized exchange volume on Aug. 30, a network record.
- Uniswap version 4 handled $432 million of that total, ahead of version 3 at $357 million.
- Applications on the chain out-earned Ethereum and Hyperliquid in 24-hour revenue.
Uniswap Versions Split The Record Volume
Wu Blockchain Data Centerlogged the figure alongside 5,521,213 daily transactions, another record for a network that has been running for barely two months. Uniswap carried almost all of that trading.
Version 4 of the exchange handled $432 million and version 3 added $357 million, which together covered close to 90% of everything that changed hands on the chain that day. The company built the network on Arbitrum technology and marketed it as a venue for tokenized stocks and other real-world assets. Retail speculation has set the tone since launch.

Ethereum And Hyperliquid Trail On App Revenue
Applications on Robinhood Chain produced $2.66 million in revenue over the same 24 hours, according to DefiLlama, and that total surpassedHyperliquid(HYPE) at $1.7 million and Ethereum(ETH) at $1.27 million. Base collected $438,436 across the window, roughly a sixth of the Robinhood figure, which puts a two-month-old network ahead of an established rival on fee income.
Only Solana(SOL) earned more over the period. Revenue measures fees that traders actually paid, a harder figure to inflate than raw volume, because a single dollar can change hands dozens of times inside one trading day. GMGN led the chain's own protocols with $1.11 million, followed by Pons(PONS) at $930,587 and Uniswap at $306,877, close to 88% of the daily total between them.
Pons Token Hits Record As Launchpads Compete
PONS traded at a record $0.39 on Aug. 30, and the launchpad behind it has been the chain's busiest venue since rival Noxa stopped accepting new token launches on Jul. 11. Uniswap Labs went after that business on Aug. 5.
The team behind Pons routes 80% of protocol fees into automated buybacks that burn the token, and it said on Aug. 29 that 29% of the original one billion supply had been retired.
Robinhood Chain found its first record quickly. Daily volume reached $563.9 million on Jul. 8, one week after launch, when a meme coin called Cash Cat dominated the network's trading tables and drew close to 200,000 active addresses. A higher mark of $846.8 million followed later that month, alongside 306,893 active addresses. Demand then drained away for six straight weeks, and volume bottomed near $140 million a day in early August. Three consecutive weeks of gains then carried the chain past that mid-July peak and into the record posted on Sunday.
