Crypto market data provider Kaiko has raised $110 million in a Series B funding round led by S&P Global. The round brings on board an array of financial institutions and digital asset industry players as co-investors.
Major institutions join Kaiko’s funding round
Founded in 2014, Paris-based Kaiko supplies institutional-grade cryptocurrency market data, analytics, and indices. Its clients include banks, asset managers, trading venues, and other financial establishments. The company tracks data from more than 150 exchanges and protocols to support the digital-asset ecosystem with reliable information.
The $110 million round features participation from leading banks and financial firms, including BNP Paribas, Royal Bank of Canada, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments. Exchanges and venture investors joining the round include Coinbase Ventures, Nasdaq Ventures, Broadridge, Bpifrance, and the Canton Foundation. Blockchain network Stellar is also among the backers. Existing shareholders Anthemis, Point Nine, and Revaia returned for this latest round after their involvement in previous raises.
Kaiko said it holds SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations from a Big Four audit firm, attesting to its internal controls and compliance. It also serves as a registered benchmark administrator under the EU Benchmark Regulation, as listed in ESMA’s register.
Kaiko’s CEO Ambre Soubiran emphasized that the new $110 million funding brings together major names from all parts of the digital asset industry, covering activities from pricing and trading to capital allocation and blockchain development.
Alongside their capital, the new investors will join a Strategic Industry Working Group, chaired by Kaiko. The group is designed to give institutions more influence over the design of data and infrastructure needed to support tokenized products and on-chain capital markets.

Expansion strategy and industry focus
Kaiko intends to invest the new funds into two main areas: a continued expansion of its digital asset data solutions, and the development of infrastructure for on-chain capital markets. This infrastructure product aims to help bring tokenized products closer to being fully operational in live markets.
S&P Dow Jones Indices CEO Cathy Clay said the funding round reflects the group’s stronger focus on digital assets and ambitions to further grow in the sector.
This fresh investment round signals a marked increase in institutional interest, as financial heavyweights expand their attention to crypto infrastructure and analytics to support the next generation of capital markets.
Kaiko previously secured $53 million in its last Series B back in 2022, making the new $110 million round nearly double the size of its previous raise.
