@SeiNetwork now supports tokenized institutional funds from a broad group of global asset managers, adding to the growing real-world asset (RWA) activity on the layer-1 blockchain. The offerings include products linked to @BlackRock, Apollo, Brevan Howard, Hamilton Lane, Nomura's @LaserDigital_, and @Ondo Finance.

The multi-issuer integration gives accredited investors and institutional desks onchain access to a range of fund strategies, including private credit and hedge fund exposure, on Sei's parallel execution layer.

How the funds reached Sei

Much of the rollout came in October 2025. According to crypto.news, tokenization platform KAIO launched BlackRock's ICS US Dollar Liquidity Fund and Brevan Howard's Master Fund on Sei, while Securitize also brought an Apollo fund to the network. The same report said investors can access shares of the BlackRock and Brevan Howard funds by holding a KAIO token on Sei.

Yahoo Finance reported that KAIO, backed by Brevan Howard and Nomura's crypto-focused Laser Digital, had issued more than $200 million in tokenized assets across feeder funds from Brevan Howard, Hamilton Lane, Laser Digital and BlackRock. The tokens are available to institutional and accredited investors and allow onchain subscription, redemption and reporting. The same report said Securitize's Apollo Diversified Credit Fund (ACRED) was a $112 million tokenized feeder fund of Apollo's private credit vehicle.

Hamilton Lane's Senior Credit Opportunities Fund (SCOPE) followed. Sei's own weekly roundup said it went live on the network via KAIO, after earlier launches from BlackRock, Brevan Howard and Apollo.

Why parallel execution matters

Sei is a layer-1 chain built for trading and financial applications. According to CoinMarketCap, it uses optimistic parallelization, processing transactions across multiple cores at once rather than sequentially as Ethereum does, and targets block times of roughly 400 milliseconds. That design is central to Sei's pitch as a settlement layer for tokenized assets.

Tokenized funds still operate within existing legal, tax and compliance frameworks, even when the infrastructure is onchain. For institutions, the appeal is faster settlement and programmable access to products that were previously available only through traditional channels. $SEI is the network's native token.
