Key Insights

  • Shiba Inu (SHIB) price holds above $0.00000404, but major EMAs continue to limit recovery attempts.
  • More than 410.84 trillion SHIB have been burned, equal to 41.08% of the original supply.
  • Open interest near $32 million shows traders still want stronger bullish confirmation

Shiba Inu price trades near $0.00000412 after buyers defended the June low around $0.00000404. The overall formation is still skewed toward sellers, but the token has now entered a state of stability. SHIB continues to trade below key Exponential Moving Averages, and futures sentiment is not overly bullish.

However, the targets and price levels discussed in this article are based on technical indicators and do not guarantee future movements. Investors should exercise due diligence or seek assistance from financial experts, as cryptocurrencies often showcase highly volatile trading.

Shiba Inu Price Holds Above Its June Support Zone

Shiba Inu price remains trapped between the June low and nearby resistance. The first support area sits around $0.00000404, followed by the psychological $0.00000400 level, TradingView data showed. A daily close below that range could expose SHIB to another decline.

Immediate resistance sits between $0.00000431 and $0.00000436. A close above that band could open movement toward $0.00000448 and $0.00000475. Bulls would then face stronger resistance near $0.00000495 and the 100-day EMA around $0.00000503.

The 200-day EMA near $0.00000607 remains the main medium-term ceiling.  Support remains concentrated at $0.00000404 and the psychological $0.00000400 level. A daily close below that area could extend the downtrend. The recovery targets would lose relevance if sellers force a fresh low.

Shiba Inu Price Tracks Burns and Exchange Outflows

Shibburn data show that more than 410.84 trillion tokens have been permanently removed. That amount represents 41.08% of the original one quadrillion SHIB supply.

Recent burn activity removed about 2.18 million SHIB during the latest 24-hour period. This reduction supports the long-term supply narrative, but the amount remains small against the circulating supply. Burns alone are unlikely to trigger an immediate Shiba Inu price rally.

Exchange activity points to continued holding. CryptoQuant data shows net flow near negative 145.2 billion SHIB. Moreover, 113 billion SHIB left the centralized exchanges. Overall exchange reserves dropped to 86.13 trillion tokens. Such withdrawals may lower liquidity on sell-side exchanges, but not necessarily lead to a recovery in Shiba Inu’s price.

Shibarium processed 1,180 daily transactions after recording 661 on July 21, Shibariumscan data showed. That represents a 78.51% recovery from a weak base. Network activity remains far below previous peaks, while SHIB has yet to reflect the improvement.

SHIB Price Needs EMA Breakout as Open Interest Falls

Derivatives traders remain cautious as open interest contracts. CoinGlass data shows SHIB open interest at around $32 million during its latest readings. That level sits far below peaks recorded during earlier leveraged rallies. Lower open interest shows that traders have reduced unsettled futures positions.

A sustained Shiba Inu price recovery needs stronger spot buying and rising volume. Open interest would also need to expand alongside price. Without that confirmation, the Shiba Inu crypto market may continue consolidating above support.

Rakuten Wallet added a physical SHIB collectible to its Real Coin series on July 16. The campaign offers up to 1.5 million SHIB for qualifying spot volume. The promotion may improve visibility, but the EMA barriers still control the near-term chart.
