Silver has found itself back in focus after a strong rebound from an area that some market analysts had identified weeks ago as a major buying zone. That recovery has reopened the debate over where the silver price could head next, especially after one analyst who correctly identified the recent bottom returned with a fresh target.

The latest outlook points to $70 as the next major objective. That target still depends on several technical hurdles, though, and the silver price has important resistance levels to overcome before a move of that size becomes realistic.

DeepValue Signals Believes the Silver Price Could Climb Toward $70

Market analyst DeepValue Signals recently shared an update after watching silver recover from the area he had been tracking for weeks.

The analyst explained that he entered a long position around the $58 level after successfully hedging silver during its decline from much higher prices into the $54 to $56 target zone. That area had already been identified as an attractive support region before the latest rebound.

DeepValue Signals also noted that confirmation remains important before turning fully bullish. Even so, the recent breakout has improved the technical picture. Another encouraging development comes from several silver mining stocks, which have started breaking above important levels alongside stronger trading volume.

Those signals often receive close attention because miners can sometimes strengthen before the metal itself begins a larger advance. That does not guarantee the same outcome this time, although it does provide another reason why the analyst believes the silver price deserves close attention.

Should the breakout receive further confirmation, DeepValue Signals believes the silver price could return to the $70 region. The analyst also left open the possibility of even higher prices over a longer period if the broader trend remains intact.

Optimism Around Silver Continues After the Recent Recovery

Another market commentator, MBAeconomics, also shared a bullish outlook after the latest recovery.

The analyst compared today’s market conditions with the powerful silver rally between July 2025 and January 2026. That period delivered one of the strongest advances in recent memory before silver later corrected.

MBAeconomics argued that the decline back toward the $50 area created another opportunity for buyers who missed the earlier rally. The analyst even projected that silver could eventually climb above $150 before the end of the year.

That projection remains much more aggressive than many technical forecasts. Even so, it highlights how optimistic some long term silver bulls remain after the recent recovery from support.

Silver Price Bounce From $54 Keeps the Weekly Uptrend Alive

A look at the weekly silver chart shows why the recent rebound has attracted so much attention.

The silver price found support close to $54 before buyers stepped back into the market. That area has acted as an important technical floor on the weekly timeframe. Strong support zones often encourage renewed buying because many investors view them as attractive entry levels after a correction.

Several technical factors now support the recovery:

  • Silver price rebounded from the important $54 support area.
  • The weekly chart continues to defend that major technical level.
  • Buyers have pushed silver back above the recent lows.
  • Momentum has improved after the latest breakout attempt.

The successful defense of $54 keeps the broader bullish structure alive for now. Continued buying pressure above that level would improve the chances of another move toward previous highs.

Resistance Levels Will Decide Whether Silver Price Can Reach $70

The latest rebound has improved sentiment, although several obstacles still stand between the current silver price and the $70 target.

The first major challenge sits around $63. Sellers previously appeared around that region, which makes it an important resistance level to watch. A clean move above that price would strengthen the bullish case considerably.

Another important barrier appears close to $68. Silver would likely need to clear that level before any sustained advance toward $70 becomes realistic.

Those price zones could determine the next stage of the rally.

A convincing breakout above both resistance levels would place the silver price in a much stronger technical position. Continued strength beyond those areas could eventually open the door to another attempt at a new all time high later this year if buying pressure remains strong.

Losing the $54 Support Could Open the Door to a Deeper Pullback

Bullish forecasts still depend on one critical condition.

The $54 support zone needs to continue holding. A breakdown below that area would weaken the current technical picture and could encourage another round of selling pressure.

Should that support eventually fail, the next major downside target could appear near $45 over the coming weeks. That area represents another important support level where buyers could attempt to regain control.

Silver therefore remains at an important technical crossroads. Buyers have defended one of the market’s strongest support levels, and analysts such as DeepValue Signals now see a possible path toward $70 if resistance levels begin to fall. The next few weeks should reveal whether the latest silver price recovery develops into another powerful rally or pauses before the next major move.

Will silver hit $200?

Experts generally believe hitting $200 per ounce isn’t likely, at least not in 2026. However, they acknowledged the possibility could exist this year under certain conditions.

How high will silver go in 2026?

Institutional silver price forecasts for 2026 range from a conservative $44 to a bullish $90+ per troy ounce. Bank of America’s extreme bull scenarios suggest a $135 to $309 peak if physical supply shortages intensify, while J.P. Morgan Global Research projects an average price of $81 for the year.
