- Solana News: Mirae Asset Securities issued tokenized notes under its $3 billion structured-note program.
- Whale Meta alleged a Solflare validator security breach, although independent confirmation remained unavailable.
- SOL price traded near $102 as traders monitored $105 resistance and $96 support.
Solana News drew attention on Oct. 28 after Mirae Asset Securities issued tokenized notes on its blockchain. The development expanded institutional use of Solana crypto for traditional financial products.
Meanwhile, social media accounts circulated allegations concerning Solflare’s validator security. SOL price traded around $102 as traders watched resistance near $105.
The developments presented separate questions about institutional adoption, infrastructure security, and short-term price direction.
Solana News: Mirae Asset Expands $3B Program Into Tokenized Securities
Mirae Asset Securities’ Hong Kong division announced its completed tokenized funding-note issuance on Oct. 28.
The transaction involved U.S. dollar-denominated floating-rate notes with six-month maturities. Mirae Asset issued them under its $3 billion Guaranteed Structured Note Programme.
However, the company did not disclose the transaction’s actual value. The $3 billion figure represented the broader issuance program rather than the completed offering.
Singapore-based Marketnode served as the authorized distributor. The Solana Foundation also supported the transaction.
Mirae Asset managed token issuance, payments, and lifecycle operations through its internal infrastructure. Eligible institutional investors received access to the blockchain-based securities.
The company restricted participation to professional investors under Hong Kong securities regulations. Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission had neither authorized nor registered the offering.
Kelly Sohn, Mirae Asset Securities’ head of digital assets, described the issuance as part of the firm’s expansion.
She said the company intended to extend its structured products through blockchain-based distribution channels.
Meanwhile, Solana Foundation Asia-Pacific head Lu Yin highlighted the role of public blockchains in established financial operations.
The development added another institutional application to Solana News. However, Mirae Asset disclosed neither the number of participating investors nor the issuance amount. That limited any assessment of institutional demand generated by the transaction.
Solana News: Solflare Validator Security Claims Raise Questions
Security concerns emerged separately after Whale Meta circulated allegations involving Solflare’s validator operations.
In an X post, Whale Meta claimed Solflare had halted validator staking rewards following a provider-related security incident.

The account alleged that compromised validator keys had disrupted reward distribution.
However, independent confirmation of the alleged compromise remained unavailable during verification.
The account also claimed that Solflare had reassured customers about their funds. No independently verified company statement established those details.
Consequently, the allegations did not establish a wider Solana network breach or customer asset losses.
Solflare’s staking documentation explains that users delegate tokens to validators to receive network rewards.
Validator performance influences reward generation, while staking involves separate operational risks.
The distinction matters because validator disruptions do not automatically establish compromises of individual wallet balances.
For Solana News, the security allegations introduced an unresolved operational concern alongside institutional adoption.
However, available evidence did not demonstrate any direct connection between the alleged incident and Mirae Asset’s issuance.
Solana News: SOL Price Faces $105 Resistance Before $112 Target
SOL price traded near $102 on Oct. 28 as the token approached short-term technical resistance. Binance historical data showed SOL trading around $102.16 during the session. The token had traded near $101.36 on Oct. 27.

Meanwhile, CryptoBusy identified a descending resistance trendline on Solana’s four-hour chart. The commentator placed immediate resistance between $104 and $105. Buyers continued defending the $96–$100 support area.
A confirmed breakout above $105 could expose the $108–$112 resistance region. However, these targets represented conditional technical scenarios rather than guaranteed price outcomes.
A rejection could instead return SOL price toward $100. Further weakness would place the $96 support level under examination.
Historical market data showed SOL had reached approximately $109 on Oct. 21 before retreating.
That price history supported the relevance of nearby overhead resistance. Solana News therefore reflected institutional adoption alongside unresolved security claims and technical price pressure.
Mirae Asset’s issuance demonstrated blockchain-based securities distribution, but disclosed no measurable SOL demand.
The next technical test centered on the $104–$105 resistance zone. A failed breakout would leave the $100 and $96 support levels in focus.
