Stellar Climbs the RWA Rankings
According to data from the @RWAFoundation_, @StellarOrg now hosts roughly $3.5 billion in tokenized real-world assets, placing it third among all public blockchains. Only @Ethereum and @BNBChain sit ahead of it. The figure puts Stellar's RWA ecosystem comfortably clear of @Ripple's $XRP Ledger at $2.5 billion, @Solana at $3 billion, and @Avax at $1.7 billion.
The ranking reflects a remarkable turnaround. The value of tokenized RWAs on Stellar climbed roughly 360% in 2026 to nearly $4 billion, up from $868.8 million at the end of last year, according to a Dune Analytics dashboard maintained by Stellar. That pace of expansion far outstripped the broader market: the Stellar Development Foundation's Q2 2026 report shows tokenized RWAs reached $3.05 billion, doubling in a single quarter, while the broader RWA market grew roughly 50% over the same stretch.
Who Is Driving the Growth
The gains are concentrated among a handful of large institutional issuers. Spiko contributed $1.55 billion to Stellar's total RWA value, establishing itself as the network's largest single issuer, followed by Realiz at $559 million, Tradable at $548 million, Franklin Templeton at $546 million, and Ondo at $535 million. The platform's tokenized assets span US Treasuries, private and public credit, non-US government debt, and additional asset classes.
Stellar also holds a distinctive lead in one niche. Stellar holds about $490 million in tokenized non-US government debt as of 20 August 2026, more than any other public blockchain, according to data platform RWA.xyz. That pool includes emerging-market sovereign instruments such as Mexican government bonds and Brazilian debt.
Institutional momentum shows little sign of slowing. The DTCC plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar, with DTC-custodied assets set to become available in the first half of 2027. With that integration on the horizon, Stellar's position in the RWA league table could strengthen further in the months ahead.
