The Index Stock Distributions Resume: What Changed After the Rebuild?
The Index paused its stock payouts for 11 days. They're back with new rules. What changed for INDEX holders?
This report on The Index stock distributions uses the November 4 update and official site as of November 4, 2026. It explains what the rebuild fixed and what's still open.

Payouts are back on a new schedule.
Why Did Payouts Pause?
The Index is a token on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer-2 network that launched in July 2026. A 3% fee on INDEX trades, collected in ETH, buys tokenized stocks for wallets holding at least 10,000 INDEX. Tokenized stocks are tokens that track a stock's price. At $0.0076, the threshold is about $76.
The team paused payouts from October 18 to October 29 to rebuild the system. Fees kept accruing and were turned into stocks once the new setup went live.
The update doesn't say whether the $23,600 below includes those accrued fees.
What Did the Upgrade Fix?
The Index stock distributions now run on fixed 36-hour cycles. The site's earlier text said payouts arrived every 15 minutes.

Since October 29, three cycles paid about $23,600 to 4,163 wallets. That's about $5.67 per wallet in total. Former holders averaged about $0.69 each.
The site once showed $1,711,612.42 distributed in total. That's about $17,300 a day over its first 99 days, against about $5,200 a day in the new cycles. It's arithmetic, not a trend.
The Index Stock Distributions: Can the Fee Gap Close?
A large share of INDEX volume trades in pools without the official fee hook. A hook is code that takes the 3% fee. Those trades don't fund payouts.
Pools holding INDEX used to appear as holders and receive stocks. They now receive $0.
The remaining bypass needs a deeper change, which is in development. No date was given.
At a 3% fee, $23,600 implies about $787,000 of fee-paying volume, if fees funded all of it. That's a rough scale check only.
Blend, from the same team, creates baskets of tokenized stocks. A share holds fixed amounts of several assets and redeems for them. Redemptions have an hourly limit sized so the whole supply could exit in about ten hours.
The update gives no Blend revenue figures.
The site says distributions are tokenized stocks, not brokerage shares, with no voting rights or dividends.

INDEX traded near $0.0076 on November 4, up 28.38% in 24 hours. That's a snapshot, not a result of the update.
The Bottom Line
This review of The Index stock distributions finds a restored system and a slower fixed schedule. It also finds an open fee-bypass problem, and payouts so far are small per wallet.
Watch the next cycles and the promised fee-routing fix before judging the model.
