XRP’s current market size looks relatively small when compared with major global asset markets. Digital Asset Investor has used that comparison to make a broader point about what could happen if tokenization brings more assets and liquidity onto blockchain networks.

His recent tweet focuses on mass tokenization and compares XRP’s $92 billion market capitalization with several major financial markets.

Digital Asset Investor Points to Mass Tokenization

Digital Asset Investor wrote, “Mass Tokenization(LIQUIDITY) coming. It doesn’t take a math genius to see what’s going to happen with XRP.”

The statement directly expected tokenization growth with XRP. Digital Asset Investor does not provide a specific XRP price target in the post. Instead, he uses market-size comparisons in the accompanying graphic to show how much larger traditional financial markets remain compared with XRP’s current market capitalization.

The graphic uses XRP’s $92 billion market capitalization as its 1x baseline. It then measures other asset categories against that figure.

The Graphic Compares XRP With Major Markets

The graphic places Bitcoin’s market capitalization at about $1.2 trillion, about 13 times the XRP baseline. It puts the total cryptocurrency market at $2.3 trillion, or roughly 25 times XRP’s stated market capitalization.

Digital Asset Investor then compares XRP with much larger traditional markets. He places physical gold at about $17.5 trillion, 190 times XRP’s baseline. The graphic puts the S&P 500 at $48 trillion, while global equities reach approximately $118 trillion.

The comparison rises with global debt and real estate. The graphic lists global debt at $318 trillion, or 3,456 times XRP’s stated market capitalization. It places global real estate at $395 trillion, 4,293 times XRP’s baseline.

The largest figure on the graphic comes from derivatives. Digital Asset Investor lists derivatives at approximately $715 trillion in notional value, representing 7,772 times the XRP baseline.

Tokenization Forms the Core of His XRP View

Digital Asset Investor’s central point rests on the potential movement of liquidity into tokenized markets. Tokenization allows financial assets to have blockchain-based representations, potentially creating new ways to issue, transfer, and settle assets.

His post suggests that XRP could experience a different level of demand if tokenization expands across financial markets. The graphic does not claim that XRP will capture any particular percentage of these markets. Instead, it shows the enormous difference between XRP’s current market capitalization and the value of major global asset categories.

The graphic cites the BIS, World Economic Forum, Savills, S&P Global, and CoinMarketCap as sources.

Digital Asset Investor’s post leaves the future outcome open, but he clearly expects expanding tokenization and liquidity to have significant implications for XRP.
