$USDT on @BNBCHAIN recorded $3.69T across 471 million transfers over the past 30 days, about 2.5 times the combined total of Tron and Ethereum, according to data from rwa.xyz. The figure places BNB Chain well ahead of the two networks that hold most of Tether's supply.

Small supply, very high turnover

The activity comes from a much smaller base. USDT on BNB Chain stands at $9.18B, compared with roughly $92B on Tron and $75B on Ethereum. On rwa.xyz's asset page, the BNB Chain supply is listed at about $9.18B, tagged as a bridged token rather than a native one.

That gap implies very different usage patterns. Each dollar of USDT on BNB Chain changes hands about 400 times a month, compared with roughly 8 to 9 times on Tron and Ethereum. The two larger networks hold far more supply, but much of it appears to sit in wallets, custody and exchange balances for longer periods.

Transaction counts point the same way. Data from the ACHIVX stablecoin scanner, which tracks settled USDT flows, shows BNB Chain carrying the most USDT transfers of any network at much smaller average sizes than Tron or Ethereum. That pattern is consistent with high-frequency, low-value activity rather than large settlement transfers.

What the totals include

The headline numbers count every transfer, including trading bots and contract activity. They are a measure of onchain movement, not of unique users or organic payment demand, and repeated transfers of the same funds are counted each time.

There is also a technical caveat on what "USDT on BNB Chain" means. According to an explainer citing Tether data, Tether-issued supply on BNB Smart Chain is $0, and the BEP-20 token there is Binance-Peg BSC-USD. Aggregators such as rwa.xyz classify it as bridged USDT, which is why it appears under the USDT label.

Tron remains the largest USDT network by supply. Datawallet, citing DefiLlama, put Tron's USDT at about $92.4 billion on 1 October 2026, roughly half of global USDT in circulation. The BNB Chain figures show that supply and activity can diverge sharply, and that raw transfer volume says little on its own about where stablecoin capital actually sits.
