Very Network Sets August 2: Deadline for VeryChat 2nd KYC

Very Network has confirmed that the submission window for the VeryChat 2nd KYC round closes on August 2, 2026, at 23:59 UTC, leaving eligible users a short period to finish verification.

The official team shared the reminder through its account on X and through the VeryChat KYC Guide, the project's official review portal. The notice targets users who have not yet submitted or whose first attempt was rejected.

The reminder comes after the verification and migration phase went live earlier in July, following weeks of anticipation across the VERY community.

Very Network Repeats the Warning

Very Network posted an update on its official X account on 30 July 2026, stating that only four days remained before the review process deadline. The post repeated the submission cutoff and flagged the single most common reason users get rejected: entering information that does not exactly match their government ID.

According to the post, common mistakes include entering the ID issue date instead of the number, submitting a name that differs from the ID, and using a VeryChat username in place of a legal name.

The team urged affected users to resubmit immediately rather than waiting until the final day.

Why Verification Cannot Be Skipped

KYC (Know Your Customer) is the identity check that confirms a user is a real person before VERY tokens can move from the project app to a VeryWallet.

Users who miss this window are not removed from the ecosystem, but their mined VERY stays locked until a future round opens.

The official guide also confirms that a VeryWallet must exist before verification can even be submitted, making wallet setup a required first step rather than an optional one.

A Gradual Rollout Since the First Verification Round

Verification activity has been described as a friction point for VERY holders since the first verification round closed.

The rollout of the VeryChat 2nd KYC banner has been gradual rather than simultaneous, appearing to users in stages over several days rather than all at once, which the project says carries no advantage or disadvantage based on timing.

After August 2: Review, Migration, and a Third Round

Once the submission window closes, Very Network will review all applications and migrate approved balances to VeryWallet in one batch before August 10, 2026.

Users who completed Node KYC or the first verification round still need to submit a separate migration request to receive their VERY. Anyone who misses this round keeps their mined VERY, since a third verification round is already planned for a later date.

How to Complete VeryChat 2nd KYC

  1. Set up a VeryWallet first. Verification cannot be submitted without one.

  2. Open the Mining page in the VeryChat app and tap the KYC banner once it appears.

  3. Prepare a government-issued ID,  passport, national ID card, or driver's license, with details printed in Latin script.

  4. Take two photos: one showing your face next to the ID, and one close-up of the ID with all four corners visible and the text in focus.

  5. Avoid common rejection triggers: blurry or distant shots, glare, screenshots, tilted IDs, or entering the wrong field (such as an issue date instead of the ID number).

  6. Submit before August 2, 23:59 UTC, and resubmit right away if rejected, since the same window applies to retries.

Why Verification Is Required

Very Network states that identity protects fairness and transparency across the project ecosystem and helps prevent abuse of the mining and reward system

It is also the only route to moving MINED VERY into a self-custody VeryWallet.

Conclusion

The VeryChat 2nd KYC deadline gives remaining users a short but clear window to verify their identity before the August 2, 2026 cutoff. Following the official ID and photo guidelines closely remains the fastest way to avoid rejection before migration begins.
