The Robot news gave PI a boost
Pi Network's $PI token received a short-term price boost this week after Fabric Foundation (@FabricFND) announced that @PiCoreTeam had joined RoboPay as a payment partner. The news landed on

Cardano is having a calm day. The ADA price dropped about 1% in the last 24 hours, and trading volume fell 35%.
But zoom out, and things look way better than a few weeks ago. Cardano jumped back up to number 13 in the crypto rankings. It passed Stellar, Chainlink, and Monero to get there. Over the last seven days, it’s up 19%, one of the best performers among big coins.
So you’ve got short-term softness, but a stronger trend underneath. That makes you wonder: where could the ADA price go in 2027?
To get some answers, we asked three AIs, DeepSeek, Claude, and Grok to map out possible paths. We gave them Cardano’s roadmap, how its ecosystem is growing, and what the broader market looks like. Here’s what they came back with.
Price is just one piece of the Cardano picture. The network itself is silently putting pieces in place that could matter years from now.
People in the community say the project is starting to look different. More applications are going live. Tools for real-world finance are growing. The infrastructure is getting better. And Charles Hoskinson, the founder, has been asking for a new story around Cardano. He says it still does things other blockchains can’t match.

There’s also work happening behind the scenes to connect Cardano with other networks. For example, Cardano and Injective are now linked through the IBC Protocol on testnet. That means ADA and INJ can move between the two systems. If that works on mainnet, it could bring more liquidity across chains and open up new DeFi possibilities.
Then there’s the governance side. That’s been a hot topic. Proposals to restructure the treasury and ongoing community debates have drawn mixed reactions. Some see it as needed change. Others worry about how decisions are being made.
Cardano has a lot of big upgrades coming before 2027.
First up is the Dijkstra era. That’s a set of foundational changes meant to make the network faster and smarter contracts easier to build. Then there’s Ouroboros Leios, the next big upgrade to how Cardano reaches agreement. They’ve already written over 700,000 lines of code for it. It’s in testnet now, with a mainnet launch down the road.
There’s also Midnight, a sidechain focused on privacy. Later in 2026, they plan to drop NIGHT tokens to ADA stakers. That could get more people to lock up their coins and participate.
Interoperability is on the list too. They’re working with LayerZero to connect Cardano to more than 160 other blockchains. That would open up a much bigger world for developers and users alike.
DeepSeek AI gave the most hopeful prediction, but only if Cardano gets everything right.
In the best-case view, the ADA price hits $3.00 to $4.00 by 2027. For that to happen, the Dijkstra upgrades, things like Nested Transactions and Linear Leios, need to go live on time and actually make the network faster.
The LayerZero connection also has to become a real bridge for money to flow in, bringing over some of those 400-plus compatible assets into Cardano. Midnight and the NIGHT token airdrop would get more people staking, which could keep selling pressure low when the next bull run hits.
Source: Deepseek AIIf things go more average, say $1.00 to $2.00, then progress is slower. Upgrades take longer than expected. LayerZero adoption drags. But the ecosystem still grows through real-world finance and business use cases. Even then, ADA’s price still follows Bitcoin’s lead.
Then there’s the worst-case: below $0.20. That happens if governance fights get ugly, Leios hits technical snags, LayerZero fails to bring in users, and the whole crypto market tanks again.

Grok AI also focused a lot on Cardano’s roadmap, but its numbers came in more grounded.
Its middle-of-the-road guess puts ADA between $0.45 and $1.10 by the end of 2027. That assumes the Dijkstra upgrades roll out over the next couple of years, Leios actually makes the network faster, Midnight brings more privacy-focused apps to life, and the cross-chain work, through LayerZero and the Injective connection, gradually pulls in developers and money.
Grok also thinks big holders will keep stacking coins ahead of smaller investors coming back.
SOurce: Grok AIFor the bullish case, $1.50 to $3.50, pretty much everything has to go right. Leios needs to be fully live. Interoperability has to work across multiple chains. DeFi and RealFi both need to take off. And the overall crypto market has to be in a strong uptrend, pushing money back into layer-one networks like Cardano.
The bearish view drops the Cardano price to $0.12–$0.35. That happens if technical work slows down, governance fights scare people off, DeFi on Cardano stays tiny compared to Solana or Ethereum, and the broader economy keeps riskier assets like crypto pinned down.
Claude AI was the most careful of the three. It paid close attention to the risks of actually pulling all this off.
Its base guess puts ADA at $0.25 to $0.45 by 2027. That assumes Leios, LayerZero, Midnight, and the rest of the roadmap move forward without any major disasters. That alone would help rebuild trust after years of people saying Cardano is too slow. But even then, Claude thinks the price ADA will just follow the rest of the crypto market, not lead it.
Source: Claude AIIn the best case, $0.60 to $1.00, everything clicks. Upgrades launch without issues. LayerZero opens the door to over 160 blockchains. Midnight gets more people staking through the NIGHT airdrop. Institutions start paying attention because Cardano actually proves it can scale. Claude did note that bigger numbers like $3.14 would mean ADA getting close to its old market cap peak. Possible, but not likely.
The worst case drops the Cardano price to $0.10–$0.15. That happens if governance fights keep dragging on, small investors stay away even as whales accumulate, roadmap deadlines keep slipping, and Bitcoin keeps soaking up all the money that could go to altcoins.
However, Cardano has one of the boldest roadmaps out there. Scalability, privacy, cross-chain work, it’s all still ahead. Whether the price hits those AI targets comes down to one thing: delivery. Not promises. Delivery, adoption, and whatever the broader market does over the next couple of years.

The AI models gave a wide range of forecasts. DeepSeek AI expects ADA could reach $3.00-$4.00 in its bullish scenario, Grok AI sees $1.50-$3.50 if adoption accelerates, and Claude AI projects $0.60-$1.00 in its bullish case. Their base-case estimates range from $0.25 to $2.00, depending on how successfully Cardano delivers its roadmap and how the broader crypto market performs.
Can Cardano (ADA) reach $3 by 2027
Yes, but it would require several major catalysts to align. DeepSeek AI and Grok AI believe ADA could reach or exceed $3 if upgrades like Ouroboros Leios launch successfully, LayerZero and IBC integrations attract new liquidity, Midnight expands adoption, and the crypto market enters a strong bull cycle. Claude AI considers a move above $3 possible but views it as a less likely outcome.
Is Cardano a good investment for the next bull market
Cardano has several upcoming catalysts, including the Dijkstra roadmap, Ouroboros Leios, Midnight, and LayerZero integration, which could improve scalability, interoperability, and network adoption. Whether ADA outperforms in the next bull market will depend on successful execution of these upgrades and sustained user and developer growth across the ecosystem.
