XRP price may be getting close to a key bottoming area, based on a new October 15 analysis from CasiTrades, one of the XRP-focused analysts we regularly follow at CaptainAltcoin.

Her latest chart places $1.27 as the first important downside target in XRP’s ongoing Wave 2 correction.

The reasoning is straightforward: that level sits just above a Fibonacci area near $1.26 and lines up with a broader support zone that has previously attracted buyers.

Why CasiTrades Is Watching $1.27

CasiTrades argues that XRP is moving almost exactly in line with the corrective structure she has been tracking.

Her chart shows price falling toward a green support zone roughly between $1.24 and $1.26, with the $1.27 level acting as a small buffer above that area.

She believes this could become the Wave 2 bottom.

The chart also shows XRP trading near $1.31 at the time of her post, which means the token was already only a few percent away from that target.

Another interesting part of her setup is the RSI.

The lower panel shows momentum weakening, but also forming what appears to be a bullish divergence structure, with RSI lows rising even as price continues testing lower levels.

That does not confirm a reversal by itself, but it gives more support to the idea that downside momentum may be losing strength.

But $1.27 Is Not Guaranteed to Hold

CasiTrades is also clear that $1.27 may only produce a temporary reaction.

She outlined a second scenario where XRP bounces from that level, holds for several days, and then resumes lower.

Her deeper downside targets are around $1.10 and, in a much more bearish scenario, approximately $0.87.

That makes $1.27 a first reaction zone, not a guaranteed final bottom.

Her chart also marks Fibonacci support around $1.26 and a deeper lower area closer to $1.09.

Bitcoin Could Matter Less Than Usual

One of the more interesting parts of her post is that Bitcoin has not moved as much as some altcoins during the latest decline.

CasiTrades believes this could allow altcoins to establish support and rebound even if BTC does not make a new low.

That would be unusual, but not impossible during periods where altcoins have already absorbed more of the selling pressure.

For XRP, that means the reaction around $1.27 could become especially important.

The Bigger XRP Thesis Remains Bullish

Despite the short-term downside risk, CasiTrades remains bullish on the broader XRP structure.

She said swing traders and long-term holders are using this area to accumulate for what she still expects to become a larger trend toward double-digit XRP prices.

That is a much longer-term thesis and should be treated separately from the immediate $1.27 setup.

For now, the chart gives traders a clear structure to watch:

  • $1.27 as the first key support
  • $1.10 if that area fails
  • $0.87 as the deeper bearish scenario
  • $1.65 as the resistance level CasiTrades wants to see broken before considering leverage
