@Zebec_HQ is using the @StellarOrg network to process corporate payrolls worth more than $5 million across more than 20 active corporate wallets. The platform streams salaries automatically and schedules payment disbursements, while hiding the blockchain layer so HR and finance teams can run payroll without handling the underlying technology.
How Zebec payroll on Stellar works
Stellar selected Zebec to bring real-time, streaming payroll to its ecosystem, marking the first native deployment of Zebec's streaming infrastructure outside the Solana network. Businesses can pay employees and contractors in real time, by the second, rather than waiting days or weeks for payroll to clear. The flow combines three steps: earnings stream in USDC, funds arrive directly in a digital wallet, and recipients can spend or cash out globally through cards or local pickup.
The partnership builds on earlier work. Zebec has supported Stellar across its card infrastructure for over two years. The enterprise product followed in June 2026. Zebec introduced its enterprise payroll platform on the Stellar blockchain, enabling companies to pay global employees and contractors in stablecoins, with instant access to funds via digital wallets and payment cards.
The system includes a corporate dashboard aimed at human resources departments coordinating large or geographically distributed teams. That setup lets finance and HR staff schedule and monitor payments without interacting with the blockchain directly.
Why Stellar, and what comes next
Stellar's design suits high-frequency payments. According to Zebec, the network processes more than 250,000 USDC transactions daily, and transaction costs are typically less than a cent, which makes streaming payments economically viable.
Cash-out options are also expanding. MoneyGram is the first fiat off-ramp available through Zebec's Stellar payroll experience, giving employees and contractors a direct path from stablecoin payroll to local currency. Access is through participating MoneyGram locations, subject to availability and applicable law. The build is rolling out in phases, starting with core payroll functionality and expanding into global payout rails, including fiat on and off ramps and remittance networks.
The reported $5 million in processed payroll is modest next to the size of the global payroll market, but it shows employers are already using stablecoin payroll rails in production. For Stellar and its $XLM token, corporate payroll offers a recurring, real-world use case beyond trading activity. For Zebec and its $ZBCN token, it extends a streaming model first built on Solana to a payments-focused network.
