Zebec Network (@Zebec_HQ) has added tokenized stocks to the Zebec SuperApp through xStocks (@xStocksFi). Users can now buy onchain versions of Apple, Nvidia, Amazon, Robinhood, Circle and other shares, and hold them next to their crypto in a single app.

The stocks are not available to US users, and other regional limits apply. The launch comes a week after Zebec added automatic $ZBCN buying to the app. That feature, powered by @JupiterExchange, lets users schedule recurring purchases of the token through the SuperApp.

What xStocks are

xStocks are tokenized stocks created by Swiss company Backed Finance, according to CoinGecko. The same source says they are backed 1:1 by real shares held in regulated custody, with tokens issued mainly on Solana, alongside Ethereum and TON.

The tokens are not the shares themselves. Analytics firm Allium notes that holders get economic exposure to the price and dividends, not registered share ownership or voting rights. Crypto Briefing describes the structure as backed tracker certificates, where the underlying equities are held in custody and the token tracks their value.

Kraken, a major distributor of the product, states that xStocks are not accessible in the US, Canada, UK or Australia. The same page says they are available to eligible non-US clients in more than 110 countries. Zebec has not set out its own list of supported regions in the material reviewed, so users should check eligibility in the app.

Why it matters for Zebec

For Zebec, the addition moves the SuperApp further beyond crypto-only trading. Users can hold equity exposure and digital assets in one place, without moving funds between a brokerage and a wallet.

The move also fits a wider trend. Crypto Briefing reports that xStocks has a market cap of around $874 million and cumulative transaction volume above $40 billion, while the broader tokenized stocks category stands at roughly $2.62 billion, citing CoinGecko. Competition is growing, with Binance bStocks and Ondo also active in the sector.

As with any tokenized equity product, risks apply. Kraken's own disclosures say the value of an investment may go down as well as up, and that geo restrictions apply.
