Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the results of the first round of its “Vote to Delist” process. Following a thorough evaluation and voting process, a total of 14 altcoins, including Badger DAO (BADGER), Balancer (BAL), and Cream Finance (CREAM), will be completely removed from the exchange on April 16, 2025. The trading of these altcoins will be gradually phased out across various services such as bot trading, margin trading, futures, and more. Binance has cautioned users to monitor the specified dates to prevent potential losses.

Which Altcoins Will Be Delisted?

According to the list published by Binance, the delisted altcoins include projects that have been trading for a long time. The list includes well-known altcoin projects such as Badger DAO, Balancer, Cream Finance, and Status, totaling 14 altcoins. The complete list of delisted altcoins is as follows:

  • BADGER,
  • BAL,
  • BETA,
  • CREAM,
  • CTXC,
  • ELF,
  • FIRO,
  • HARD,
  • NULS,
  • PROS,
  • SNT,
  • TROY,
  • UFT,
  • VIDT.

These projects received inadequate support in the community voting and failed to pass Binance’s regular technical and security audits. A total of 103,942 votes were cast during the voting process, but 10,262 votes were deemed invalid due to issues like fraud and multiple device usage. The assessment was conducted based on the remaining 93,680 valid votes.

Binance Altcoin Delist

Binance stated that it considered various criteria, including development activities, liquidity levels, community interactions, transparency, and potential fraudulent or unethical behaviors. Additionally, sudden and unjustified changes in the supply structures of some projects were also factors in this decision. The exchange indicated that other altcoins not removed in this first round might be evaluated in the future.

Important Dates and Warnings for Users

Starting from April 16, 2025, the spot trading pairs for BADGER, BAL, BETA, CREAM, CTXC, ELF, FIRO, HARD, NULS, PROS, SNT, TROY, UFT, and VIDT will be completely removed from Binance. The exchange will automatically cancel all pending orders related to these altcoins. Users must update or terminate their trading bots, copy trading portfolios, and Simple Earn products by this date. Otherwise, the system will automatically close trades and transfer coin balances to the spot wallet.

On the futures trading side, an earlier timeline is established. As of April 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM (UTC), the futures contracts for these altcoins will be closed and automatically liquidated. Additionally, from April 9, the borrowing feature for margin trading will be disabled, and on April 14, margin positions will be closed and assets put up for sale. VIP and flexible loan transactions will also end on the same date.

Furthermore, Binance will halt withdrawal transactions for these altcoins after June 9. Beginning June 10, any unwithdrawn coins will be converted to stablecoins, although this process is not guaranteed. Users are advised to disable the “hide small balances” option to view their entire assets.
